Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Filterelement ist es erfindungsgemäß auch möglich, daß an den beiden gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten des Filterpacks jeweils ein streifenförmiges Rahmenelement und an den beiden voneinander entfernten Stirnseiten des Filterpacks jeweils ein streifenförmiges Stirnelement mittels einer am Stirnelement vorgesehenen Kleberschicht befestigt ist, wobei die jeweilige Endfalte derartig bearbeitet ist, daß die mindestens eine Staubfilterlage relativ zur Adsorptionsfilterlage verkürzt und die Sorptionsmittel-Partikel vom freigelegten Flächenabschnitt der Trägerlage der Adsorptions-Filterlage entfernt sind, und wobei das jeweilige Stirnelement mittels seiner Kleberschicht an der zugehörigen Endfalte derartig befestigt ist, daß die Kleberschicht mit dem freigelegten Flächenabschnitt der Trägerlage der Adsorptions-Filterlage und mit der mindestens einen oder mit der von der Trägerlage entfernten äußersten Staubfilterlage verbunden ist. Die der Erfindung zugrundeliegende Aufgabe kann erfindungsgemäß auch dadurch gelöst werden, daß an den beiden gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten des Filterpacks jeweils ein streifenförmiges Rahmenelement befestigt ist, daß die jeweilige Endfalte derartig bearbeitet ist, daß die mindestens eine Staubfilterlage relativ zur Adsorptions-Filterlage verkürzt und die Sorptionsmittel-Partikel vom freigelegten Flächenabschnitt der Trägerlage der Adsorptions-Filterlage entfernt sind, und daß eine Kleberschicht sich vom freigelegten Flächenabschnitt der Trägerlage der Adsorptions-Filterlage bis zur mindestens einen oder bis zu der von der Trägerlage entfernten äußersten Staubfilterlage erstreckt. Dabei kann die Kleberschicht temporär an einem Transferband vorgesehen sein, das mittels einer Zufuhreinrichtung zur entsprechenden Endfalte zugeführt und mittels einer Anpreßeinrichtung an die Endfalte angepreßt wird, wobei die Kleberschicht vom Transferband zur Endfalte transferierbar ist und das Transferband nach dem Klebertransfer von der Endfalte entfernt wird.
