Beschreibungdescription
[0001] The present invention relates to a hazardous panel in fireproof version for the identification of dangerous goods transports, said panel comprises a base plate made of a high temperature resistant material and said panel on its visible side a retroreflective coating in a first color and to contrasting, the respectively to be identified Has dangerous goods corresponding digits in a second color, the digits still being legible even after a fire. The invention also relates to a base frame for the exchangeable reception of a hazardous goods panel.
[0002] A first dangerous panel of this type is 0,292,753 Bl known from EP. This is a fire-proof identification plate with at least one symbol carrier made of sheet metal, which contains one or more symbols in the form of recesses, and with a color-contrasting material, the material filling the recesses, the sheet metal being a highly heat-resistant stainless steel sheet and where the contrasting material is such that it exposes the recesses under the action of temperature. The contrast material plastic, with which the recesses are injected, is preferred. In the basic state of this dangerous goods table, the characters are easy to read due to the fact that the symbol carrier has a bright orange surface in accordance with the relevant regulations and that the symbols or characters contrasting therewith are black. Even after a fire, this known identification label can still be read, provided that the fire was so long and strong that the contrasting material melted or burned. In this state, the recesses in the symbol carrier are then free, so that one can see through the symbols. In this way, the symbols can still be read, at least against a lighter background, even after a fire. The disadvantage of this identification plate is the high manufacturing costs, since each symbol or sign is an injection-molded part made of plastic that must be individually connected to the symbol carrier, e.g. B. by direct injection into the recess. In addition, the reading of this label is difficult if the fire was only of short duration or strength and was not sufficient for the complete melting or burning of the contrasting material forming the symbols. In this case, the recesses for the symbols or characters then remain partially filled with the contrasting material; other parts of the material can run apart and be distributed over the sign in such a way that reading the symbols or signs is difficult or even impossible. Finally, this known dangerous goods table is each set to a specific character string which can no longer be changed afterwards. A separate board is therefore required for each dangerous goods.
[0003] Another relevant dangerous panel is known from EP 0869038 A2. This document shows a fire-proof identification plate, in particular for the transport of dangerous goods, in which characters with a color-contrasting visible surface are arranged on a base plate made of high-temperature-resistant material via an intermediate layer. It is essential with this sign that these characters are decoupled from a high-temperature-resistant material and that they contrast in color with the base plate when exposed to strong heat in such a way that the characters on the base plate are still clearly legible even after a fire, with the intermediate layer forming the contrast between the base plate and the sign is only made possible or otherwise reinforced. With this dangerous goods sign, too, in the basic state, the characters are easy to recognize thanks to the color contrast "bright orange - black". After a fire, the effects of heat should create a color contrast due to the different materials used for the base plate and the decoupled characters. Such a contrasting effect is to be expected at least if there is no heavy soot formation and deposition in the event of a fire. The disadvantage of this known identification plate, however, is that each character has to be attached individually to the base plate, it being important that the connection of each character to the base plate is carried out in a high-temperature-resistant manner. This leads to a high production cost for the identification plate as a whole. This known identification label is also set to a specific sequence of characters that can no longer be changed afterwards, so that a separate board is necessary here for each dangerous good.
[0004] For the present invention therefore has as its object to create a dangerous board of the type mentioned, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned above and in particular the production is easier and less expensive, but the good readability of the numbers both in the ground state of Hazardous goods board remains guaranteed as well as after a fire, and versions of the board with digits that can be changed later if necessary are possible.
This object is achieved according to the invention with a dangerous panel of the type mentioned, which is characterized,
That the visible side on or in front of the base plate at least one bearing the coating in the first color Cover plate made of a material that is also high-temperature resistant is arranged,
That the digits are cut out as negatives from the cover plate and
That the base plate on the one hand and the cover plate on the other hand consist of materials or with materials are coated, which show a color differentiation from one another after a fire.
[0006] The dangerous panel of the invention has the advantage that it plates to be joined, consisting of only few parts, in the minimal case of just two with each other, whereby the manufacturing and installation of dangerous panel substantially simplified and is correspondingly cost. In the basic state of the dangerous goods board, the visible side of the cover plate is coated in bright orange in accordance with the relevant regulations, usually with a correspondingly colored retroreflective film. The digits appear on this orange surface in black, as required by the regulations. The use of different materials for the base plate and the cover plate, which are different in color after a fire, ensures the necessary contrast for good readability even after a fire. In this state of the dangerous goods table, the cover plate has a first color, while the base plate visible through the cut-out digits has a second color in which the digits now appear.
To the above-mentioned color differentiation to be achieved after a fire, for example, the one of the two plates made of stainless steel, preferably V2A sheet and the other of the two sheets of galvanized sheet metal, preferably Galfanblech exist. The stainless steel sheet turns dark in the event of a fire, while the galvanized sheet has an im
In contrast to the stainless steel sheet, it takes on a significantly lighter color. After the fire, the numbers appear in a color which, due to its different brightness, contrasts with its surroundings through the cover plate is formed. The above-mentioned coatings in the form of foils or lacquers are in the event of fire burned completely for a very short time, so that these do not impair the legibility of the digits after a fire be able.
An embodiment of the dangerous goods table provides that the coating in the first color on the cover plate is cut out congruently and in accordance with the digits and that the base plate on its side facing the cover plate at least in the area of the digits with a coating in the second color is provided. This board can be produced easily because the cover plate can first be provided with its coating over the entire surface. Then the digits are cut out or punched out. The color of the digits is achieved by coating the base plate. However, the advantage of simple manufacture is offset by the small disadvantage that the surface of the board is not even, which may result in more rapid soiling of the board and making it difficult to read in everyday use. This disadvantage avoids an execution of the dangerous goods panel, in which it is provided that the coating in the first color on the cover plate is applied over the entire surface and the cut-out digits and that congruent and consistent with the cut-out digits on the full-surface coating in the first Color the same digits are laminated or printed in the second color. This board requires a little more manufacturing effort, but offers a completely flat and smooth surface of the cover plate, so that this board does not differ optically or in terms of its susceptibility to soiling from known boards.
So that in the event of a fire, the two plates that form the hazardous goods panel remain securely connected to each other without the connecting means restricting the recognizability of the digits, it is provided that the two plates are connected to each other at the edge, preferably by a circumferential piping or an edge beading at least in sections of at least one of the two plates. This edge-side connection is to be designed in any case in such a way that it is maintained even when exposed to high temperatures, which is guaranteed in any case by a piping with a metallic core or by the above-mentioned flanging.
Alternatively or additionally, the two plates can be connected to one another by punctiform connecting means. These punctiform connecting means are preferably screws or rivets, since they can be attached quickly and easily and reliably fulfill the desired connecting function even in the event of a fire. The punctual connecting means can also advantageously serve to connect the panel to one or more mounting brackets. By means of these mounting brackets, the dangerous goods board can then be attached to a transport vehicle at the prescribed locations and on the vehicle-side mounting means.
In order to ensure a good flat contact between the two plates of the dangerous goods board over a longer period of time, they can also be connected to one another by flat bonding. This bond does not have to be high-temperature resistant, since it is only provided as an additional measure that ensures that the two panels that form the hazardous goods panel always lie close to one another during normal operation without the effect of fire and are not spaced apart from one another, which would make the Digits could be adversely affected and dirt or moisture could get between the panels.
In the simplest case, the dangerous goods table consists of only two parts, in which case the cover plate is expedient and the base plate are of the same size and are arranged congruently to one another.
Alternatively, there is the possibility that the cover plate is formed from two or more partial cover plates which complement each other in terms of surface area to form the cover plate. In this way, partial cover plates can be prefabricated and kept available, which can be combined with one another at the table manufacturer's request.
bleiben. The division of the cover plate into partial cover plates can go so far that a partial cover plate is provided for each digit to be represented. In this way there is absolutely free combinability of the individual partial cover plates to the respectively desired and required sequence of digits. Since the dangerous goods transported in each case changes in many transport vehicles, dangerous goods panels that have been changed accordingly must also be attached to the vehicle. In order to offer a flexible solution for adapting the dangerous goods panels to the transported dangerous goods, it is provided that the partial cover plates are individually exchangeable and connected to the base plate by means of detachable retaining means that are resistant to high temperatures.
A preferred development provides in this regard that at least one holding frame made of high temperature-resistant material is connected to the base plate or made in one piece and that the partial cover plates are held interchangeably in the holding frame. In this way, a slight change in the sequence of digits is possible, but at the same time the advantages of easy readability described above are retained even after a fire.
With regard to the above-mentioned holding frame it is preferably provided that it is at least one-sided open or releasable slide-in frame is designed and that the part cover plates by moving parallel to one of the edges of the base plate can be introduced into the holding frame and removed from the holding frame. This offers easy handling with a secure hold.
It is also provided for the dangerous goods board that it is coated over the entire surface in the second color on its rear side, is preferably powder-coated. This also protects the back of the board against corrosion. Besides that it can be turned when the transport vehicle is empty, in which case digits no longer appear and where the board can remain in its place of attachment on the vehicle.
Verschlußteil mit Verriegelungsmitteln, vorzugsweise mitThe invention further relates to a base frame for the exchangeable reception of a hazardous goods panel, the base frame being attachable to a transport vehicle. It is preferably provided that the base frame is designed as a slide-in frame that is open or releasable on one side and that the dangerous goods panel can be inserted into and removed from the base frame as a whole through the open or released side of the base frame.
To achieve a simple but reliable construction of the base frame it is further provided that it has a rear wall made of a sheet metal plate, which is folded forward and inward on three edges to form a sliding guide and a stop for the dangerous goods panel and which is at its fourth, open edge a releasable closure part with locking means, preferably with
diese einfassende Rand des Grundrahmens eine möglichst glatte Fläche bilden.has one or more spring pins for securing the position of a hazardous goods panel pushed into the sliding guide. The rear wall can be closed or perforated. The locking part can be handled easily and without tools and ensures that the dangerous goods board is reliably secured in the base frame.
[0023] Thus, the hazardous material panel in the base frame always receives a sufficiently firm and rattle-free fit is appropriate in each case arranged a pressure spring or pressure bar in the area of the sliding guide forming bent portions at least by means of which an inserted into the base frame dangerous plaque at the base frame can be pressed. The panel is preferably pressed in the direction of its visible side so that the panel and the edge of the base frame surrounding it form a surface that is as smooth as possible.
der Zeichnung zeigen: [0024] Next is provided for the base frame, that it consists of the same material as the base plate of the hazardous panel and that it is coated in the second color, preferably coated, is. The color of the base frame is thus matched to the base plate and also behaves in the same way as the base plate in the event of a fire, so that the base frame cannot impair the recognizability of the digits on the board after a fire. [0025] In order to facilitate the extraction of a hazardous panel from the base frame advantageously has its rear wall at the open edge of a section, preferably semicircular with about contour, on which permits manual grasping a to be pulled out from the base frame dangerous panel or facilitated.

[0037] FIG. 11 is a pressure strip as part of the base frame of Fig. 9, also in plan view.
[0038] As FIG. 1 shows the drawing, the illustrated here first embodiment has a dangerous panel 1 has a rectangular outline, the size of the panel is predetermined by corresponding standards. The visible side of the dangerous goods table 1 facing the viewer is divided into an upper and a lower half, with up to four digits 31, 32 being able to be displayed in each half of the table 1.
[0039] The dangerous panel 1 according to Fig. 1 consists essentially of an observer facing the cover plate 3 and a behind arranged congruent base plate 2. The cover plate 3 is over most of its visible side 10 with a prescribed colored coating such. B. a bright orange colored, retroreflective sheeting. The upper and lower halves are separated by a black separating strip 33 which, for example, is lacquered or printed on or is formed by a glued-on film. The base plate 2 is provided on the top with a black layer of paint, z. B. by a glued-on film or a layer of lacquer. To form numbers 31, 32 characterizing a transported dangerous goods, corresponding openings are cut or punched into the cover plate 3, each of which is the negative shape of the numbers 31, 32 to be displayed. In this way, the digits 31, 32 appear in black, since in these areas the viewer's gaze falls through the cover plate 3 onto the base plate 2. The base plate 2 and the cover plate 3 are connected to one another, with two connecting means being provided in the present exemplary embodiment of the hazardous goods panel 1. The first connecting means is formed by a flange 22 of the upper and lower edge of the base plate 2, this flange 22 forming a sliding guide for the cover plate 3. The left edge 21 of the base plate 2 is simply folded upwards and thus forms a stop for the inserted cover plate 3. Furthermore, a rivet 5 is provided on the right edge of the plates 2, 3, which connects the two plates 2, 3 to one another. In the case of dangerous goods panel 1, it is also essential that the base plate 2 and the cover plate 3 are made of high-temperature-resistant material and that these materials behave differently in the event of a fire with regard to their resulting coloration. Suitable materials are, for example, stainless steel for one of the two plates 2, 3 and galvanized sheet metal, preferably Galfan sheet, for the other of the two plates 2, 3. After a fire, the stainless steel sheet has a dark color, while the galvanized sheet has a lighter color having. If the base plate 2 is made of stainless steel and the cover plate 3 is made of galvanized sheet metal, the digits 31, 32 appear dark in a light background after the fire; if the materials are used the other way round, i.e. with a base plate 2 made of galvanized sheet metal and a cover plate 3 made of stainless steel sheet, the numbers 31, 32 appear light in a dark background after a fire. In the event of a fire, the colored film or paint is burned away very quickly, so that the legibility of the digits is not impaired by residues of film or paint after a fire. Melting plastics cannot flow away, which would make reading difficult or impossible after a fire, since such plastics are not used here.
Unterschiedlich ist dabei aber, daß FIG. 2 of the drawing shows the dangerous goods table 1 from FIG. 1 in a vertical section in a schematic representation that is not to scale for reasons of clarity. On the left in Fig. 2 is the cover plate 3 and on the right the base plate 2. The base plate 2 is designed over the entire surface and congruent in its outline with the cover plate 3. In the cover plate 3 are the openings in the form of the punched or cut out digits 31, 32. Die The visible side 10 of the cover plate 3 is provided with the first color coating 30 and with the dividing line 33. The base plate 2 is coated both on its front side and on its rear side 11 with a coating 20 in the second color. Fig. 3 of the drawing shows an embodiment of the dangerous goods panel 1, which is designed similarly to the dangerous goods panel according to FIG. 2. What is different, however, is that
Die Grundplatte 2 ist auch bei dem Beispiel gemäß Fig. 3 sowohl vorderseitig wie auch rückseitig mit einer Beschichtung 20 in der zweiten Farbe, üblicherweise schwarz, beschichtet.in the case of the panel 1 according to FIG. 3, the coating 30 attached to the visible side 10 on the cover plate 3 is present over the entire surface in the first color. The numbers 31, 32 are, as in the embodiment described above, punched out or cut out of the cover plate 3. These cut-out or punched-out digits 31, 32 are, however, initially covered by the continuous, full-surface coating 30. To show the numbers 31, 32 on the visible side, the same numbers 31 ', 32' are printed congruently with the cut or punched-out numbers 31, 32 on the visible side 10 of the coating 30 or are glued on in the form of adhesive film blanks. When viewed from the visible side 10, this dangerous goods panel 1 does not differ from conventional, known dangerous goods panels. A major difference arises in the event of a fire, however, when the coating 30 and the digits 31 ', 32' attached to it burn as a result of the action of heat. After such a fire, the cut-out or punched-out digits 31, 32 are exposed and can be deciphered without any problems. This legibility is promoted by the fact that the base plate 2 and the cover plate 3 are made of materials which, in the event of a fire, behave differently in terms of their coloring, as already explained above. In the example according to FIG. 3, the base plate 2 is coated both on the front and on the rear with a coating 20 in the second color, usually black.
[0044] FIG. 4 of the drawing shows in vertical section the edge region of a hazardous goods panel 1 in another embodiment. This embodiment of the panel 1 is characterized in that the base plate 2 has a flanged or double-beveled edge 22 at least on two opposite sides. This edge 22 engages around the edge of the cover plate 3, so that a secure cohesion between the base plate 2 and cover plate 3 is guaranteed. As already described above, here too the cover plate 3 is provided with the coating 30 on the visible side and the base plate 2 is provided with a front and rear coating 20.
Fig. 5 shows, in the same representation as Fig. 4, an embodiment of the dangerous goods panel 1 with a circumferential piping 4, preferably with a metallic core, which serves or contributes to the connection of base plate 2 and cover plate 3 and which also provides edge protection and protection against injuries at the edges and corners of the dangerous goods plate 1. In addition to the piping 4, a point connection, z. B. be provided by screws or rivets, or a flat bond to hold the two plates 2, 3 close to each other. Fig. 6 of the drawing shows a further dangerous goods panel 1 in vertical section, the cover plate 3 on the left and the base plate 2 on the right. The base plate 2 is designed over the entire surface and its outline is congruent with the cover plate 3. In the cover plate 3, the openings are in the form of punched or cut out digits, only one digit 31 being visible here in section. The color coatings of the base plate 2 and the cover plate 3 are not specifically shown in FIG. 6. [0047] Furthermore, FIG. 6 the circulating piping 4, which here contributes to the connection of the base plate 2 and top plate 3.
On the rear side 11 of the dangerous goods panel 1 on the right in FIG. 6, a mounting bracket 6 can be seen which is connected to the dangerous goods panel 1 by means of screws 5. The screws 5 serve both to connect the base plate 2 and cover plate 3 to one another and to connect the hazardous goods panel 1 to the mounting bracket 6. In the present example, two bores 60 are provided in the mounting bracket 6, which are used to connect the hazardous goods panel 1 with appropriately arranged and designed Holding means are used on a transport vehicle for dangerous goods.
FIG. 7 shows an embodiment of the dangerous goods table 1 in which it is essential that its cover plate 3 is divided into two partial cover plates 3 ', 3 ". The larger partial cover plate 3' on the left in FIG. 7 is permanent connected to the base plate 2. For the connection between the partial cover plate 3 'and the base plate 2, the latter has a holding frame 23 formed by a flanged upper and lower edge and a simply beveled left edge 21. By at least one additional connecting means, such as a screw or rivet, this partial cover plate 3 'can be firmly connected to the base plate 2.
[0050] The still existing second part-cover plate 3 "is interchangeably mounted on the base plate 2, here inserted and pulled out, to which the right edge of the base plate 2 is open.
[0051] On the far right in Fig. 7, the second part-cover plate 3 'is visible from its other side, which if necessary the first side rather than the visible side of forms and can then be read.
[0052] The sub-cover plates 3 ', 3 "are provided with numerals 31, 32, which may be executed in accordance with the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 3. The part-cover plate 3" can optionally in its one or other position in the base plate 2 can be inserted to identify various dangerous goods. A secure fixation is achieved by suitable locking means, not specifically shown here.
[0053] The optical separation of the points 31 shown 32 in an upper and a lower row is also done by a dividing line 33, the cover plates portion 3 'is provided on the otherwise attached there coating in the first color at all.
[0054] The replaceable part-cover plate 3 'is advantageously formed of two material layers, wherein each of the numbers 31, 32 of one and the other side of the part-cover plate 3 in each of a sheet "are cut out or punched out.
8 shows an embodiment of the dangerous goods table 1 in which a separate partial cover plate 3 ″ is provided for each number 31, 32 to be displayed Dangerous goods table 1 allowed for a wide variety of dangerous goods to be labeled.
[0056] The base plate 2 is for this purpose designed as a two-line slide frame having an upper and a lower sliding guide 23rd The right side of the base plate 2 is open, so that from here the partial cover plates 3 ″ can be pushed one after the other into the guides 23 of the base plate 2; conversely, the partial cover plates 3 ″ can be separated from the base plate 2 in the opposite direction. The left edge 21 of the base plate 2 is folded upwards to form a stop. A backup of the individual part-cover sheets 3 "is carried out by suitable locking means which are not shown here specifically. In its embodiments correspond to the individual part-cover sheets 3" to the design discussed above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 and 7.
Die Rückseite des Rah- [0057] Fig. 9 of the drawings shows in a diagrammatic perspective view of a base frame 7, which serves for receiving a replaceable dangerous panel 1, which is not shown here. The base frame 7 has a rear wall 70 as well as a double beveled edge 71, 72 at the top, left and bottom, which forms a sliding guide for the dangerous goods board to be held. The back of the frame
Der rechte Rand 74 des Rahmens 7 ist offen und zusätzlich mit einem halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt 73 versehen, der das manuelle Ergreifen einer im Rahmen 7 gehalterten Gefahrguttafel zum Zweck des Herausziehens erleichtert.mens 7 is formed by a rear wall 70 in which a total of four bores 70 'are attached to the connection of the frame 7 are used with a transport vehicle for dangerous goods. The right edge 74 of the frame 7 is open and additionally provided with a semicircular cutout 73, which enables the manual gripping of an in the frame 7 mounted dangerous goods plate for the purpose of pulling out easier.
[0058] a closure member 75 which is fixed detachable from the rest of the frame 7 and these are secured by a frame 7 disposed in the hazardous panel. After the closure part 75 has been inserted into the open side 74 of the frame 7, the closure part 75 is fixed by means of at least one locking means 76. The locking means 76 is formed here by a spring pin which can be displaced in the vertical direction and which is preloaded in the locking direction by, for example, a small spring. In the case of a hazardous goods panel 1 with partial cover plates 3 ', 3 ", the closure part 75 securely holds the latter on its base plate 2 against displacement, so that separate securing means are then no longer required.
Fig. 10 shows a plan view of a part of the base frame 7 forming pressure spring 77 which is provided within the sliding guides 71 at the top and bottom of the base frame 7 and held on this. In the example according to FIG. 10, the pressure spring 77 is formed by a suitably shaped leaf spring. This leaf spring 77 ensures that a dangerous goods panel introduced from the right through the open side 74 into the sliding guides 71 is pressed against the opposite parts of the base frame 7 with a force pointing forwards, ie downwards in FIG. This ensures that the dangerous goods board sits securely and without rattling in the frame 7. In addition, the dangerous goods board then advantageously lies flush against the inwardly beveled edges of the base frame 7 .
Finally, FIG. 11 shows a pressure strip 77 'which can be used as an alternative to the pressure spring and which is also attached at the top and bottom in the sliding guides 71 of the base frame 7. The function of the pressure bar 77 'corresponds to the function of the pressure spring 77, as described with reference to FIG. 10.
