Description

The present invention relates to an additional attachment opening for the doorstop.

This plug-on opening extends radially outwards from the bore to a front face of the plug-on section which projects from the wedge section and to which the plug-on opening opens. The plug-on opening usually has a straight radial extension.

This rectilinear radial extent of the slip-on opening has the same direction of extent as the elongated wedge section and thus as the straight contact surface. However, the wedge element is offset in its longitudinal extent compared to the radial extent of the plug-on opening.

The plug-on opening is selected in such a way that a shank of a doorknob or a door handle can be inserted into the hole and the plug-on section can be expanded elastically in the radial direction.
