Abstract

The invention relates to additional equipment (1) for a sanitary basin (2), which can be fastened to a rear side (4) by means of at least one bolt (5) in or on a building wall (6) via a receptacle (3), with a base plate element ( 7) which has at least one recess (8) that can be positioned to overlap with the receptacle (3) of the sanitary basin (2), and with at least one accessory holding element (9) protruding from the base plate element (7). A sanitary basin (2) and an assembly method are also specified.

Description

The present invention relates to additional equipment for a sanitary basin, a sanitary basin and a method for installing a sanitary basin with additional equipment.

In addition to a washbasin, a toilet, a bidet, a urinal or the like (referred to collectively here as a sanitary basin), a range of accessories (hygiene articles, cleaning articles, mirrors, rubbish bins, etc.) are also required in a sanitary room, which are located near the Sanitary basin should be provided for convenient use. For this purpose, furniture elements, holders, shelves, etc. are known, which are attached to a wall of the sanitary room. Since such sanitary rooms usually have tiles or tiles on the wall, it is precisely this attachment that leads to problems, because damage to the tiles or tiles should be avoided as far as possible. In addition, such sanitary rooms are often very small, so that there are also fundamental space problems.

Proceeding from this, it is the object of the present invention to at least partially solve the problems described with reference to the prior art. In particular, additional equipment for a sanitary basin is to be specified, which can be installed in the area of the sanitary basin with less effort and/or in a space-saving manner.

These objects are achieved with additional equipment for a sanitary basin, a sanitary basin and a method for installing a sanitary basin with additional equipment according to the independent patent claims. Advantageous developments are specified in the dependent patent claims. The features of the patent claims can be combined with each other and with items from the following description, unless this is explicitly excluded. The description, in particular with reference to the figures, illustrates the invention and specifies further exemplary embodiments.

Additional equipment for a sanitary basin contributes to this, in which case the sanitary basin can be fastened in or on a building wall via a receptacle on a rear side by means of at least one bolt. The additional equipment has a base plate element, which has at least one recess that can be positioned to overlap with the receptacle of the sanitary bowl, and at least one accessory holding element that protrudes from the base plate element.

It is known to fix such sanitary basins on the back by means of bolts on a wall. The sanitary basin can thus also be suspended so that people can sit and/or support themselves on the sanitary basin. For this purpose, the sanitary basin usually has several, in particular two, receptacles through which the bolts are inserted during assembly and then the sanitary basin is braced against the wall. The recording can be designed in the manner of a guide, optionally equipped with a bolt attachment.

The additional equipment can be a one-piece or multi-piece component. The base plate element can be designed as a rectangular plate, for example made of a metallic material and/or plastic. The base plate element can run or be installed essentially parallel to the wall or rear side of the sanitary basin. A single recess can preferably be provided in the base plate element, which recess provides an opening through the base plate element. The shape or dimensioning of the base plate element is such that the recess and a receptacle of the sanitary bowl are positioned one above the other (aligned) and a section of the base plate element still protrudes beyond the back of the sanitary bowl. In particular, starting from this protruding portion, a protruding accessory holding element is provided. In this context, protruding means in particular that this accessory holding element extends beyond the surface and/or out of the plane of the base plate element. In particular, an accessory holding element protrudes at least partially in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the base plate element. The accessory holding member may be integral with the base plate member. The accessory holding element can be designed to be integrally connected to the base plate element.

The accessory holding element can comprise at least one of the following self-supporting elements: rod, plate, hook, plug. A rod can be slender, cylindrical or angular in cross-section, in particular running (only) in one direction, and can be used, for example, as a holder for towels, toilet paper rolls, magazines, etc. A plate can have an essentially flat surface and can be used, for example, as a shelf for cleaning equipment, hygiene items, magazines, medicines, etc. A hook can have a curved and/or bevelled shape and can be used to (detachably) fix other holders, cloths, etc. A plug can be designed in such a way that (in particular in the manner of an adapter) further furniture parts, holders, connections can be arranged with a precise fit, so that z. B. Extension sets for the additional equipment can be attached in a defined manner.

The additional equipment can comprise two base plate elements, each of which has recesses that can be positioned so as to overlap with one of two receptacles of the sanitary basin, and form a common accessory holding element. It is possible for the two base plate elements to be aligned or aligned with one another via the common accessory holding element. The common accessory holding element can be designed in one piece or connected to the two base plate elements in a materially bonded manner. The common accessory holding element can have a U-shape, with the two base plate elements on the U-legs being positioned opposite one another (at the same height) and facing inwards towards one another (both with their receptacle towards the middle of the U). The common accessory holding element may (partially) extend in the same and/or a parallel plane to the base plate elements.

The common accessory holding element can be arranged in such a way that it partially surrounds the sanitary bowl. In the mounted state, the common accessory holding element can be embodied, for example, in the form of an arch, board, compartment, shelf or the like, which extends above the sanitary bowl. It is possible that the common accessory holding element is designed, for example, in the form of a tray, a compartment, a shelf or the like, which extends below the sanitary bowl. The common accessory holding element can surround the sanitary basin at a distance, ie without direct contact.

According to a further aspect, a sanitary basin is proposed which can be fastened in or on a building wall via a receptacle on a rear side by means of at least one bolt, and which has at least one pocket formed in the region of the receptacle for arranging the base plate element of the additional equipment proposed here. The pocket and the shape or dimensioning of the base plate element are matched to one another. In particular, the pocket is designed in such a way that it specifies the contact of a base plate element (accurately fitting) and preferably forms a guide for the base plate element. It is preferred that two pockets are provided, in each of which a base plate element can be integrated (separately). The pockets can be formed as material recesses in the sanitary basin and preferably have a planar contact surface for the base plate element. A pocket can be arranged directly on the back and/or on the back wall of the sanitary basin defining the back and/or on a side wall of the sanitary basin adjoining the back.

The at least one pocket may be formed on the outside of the back. This means, in particular, a point that is directly opposite the wall when it is mounted on a wall. A depth of the pocket can then be chosen such that it essentially corresponds to the thickness of the base plate element, the base plate element can then be arranged (fittingly) between the rear side of the sanitary basin and the wall of the sanitary room. The pocket can cover the area for receiving a bolt and preferably extend to a lateral edge of the rear. The pocket can be designed as a groove in the material of the back wall of the sanitary basin.

The at least one pocket can be designed with a slot in a side surface of the sanitary bowl. It is possible for the slot to be aligned or positioned adjacent to a pocket portion located on the back wall of the sanitary bowl defining the rear. It is possible for the surface of the back wall of the sanitary basin facing away from the wall of the sanitary room to have a pocket which extends from the receptacle for the bolt to a side wall of the sanitary basin, the slot being formed there. The slot can essentially correspond to the cross-section of the base plate element. In this way, the section of the base plate element with the cutout can be inserted through the slot and then positioned inside or below the sanitary basin in overlapping relationship with the receptacle.

The sanitary basin can be made of a material selected from the following group: ceramic, cast mineral, plastic. In this way, in particular, the receptacle for the bolt, the pocket and/or the slot is made directly in this material.

At least one accessory holding element can be arranged laterally on the outside and at least partially spaced apart on the sanitary basin. The base plate element can be designed in such a way that it protrudes laterally when arranged in/on the pocket and an accessory holding element then extends (towards the front) from this protruding section, if necessary essentially parallel at a distance from the side wall of the sanitary basin. In this case, the accessory holding element over z. B. at least 30%, possibly even at least 60% or even over the entire side length of the sanitary basin (starting from the back). It is possible that the accessory holding element (again) comes into contact with the sanitary bowl after a laterally spaced course.

At least one connection bracket can be attached to the at least one accessory holding element be arrangeable. It is possible for the accessory holding element to have a plug, a closure and/or a fastening device, so that a further connection holder can be fixed (detachably). The accessory holding element can then serve or be designed as a type of carrier for the connection holder. The connection holder can be a piece of furniture (shelf, compartment, etc.), for example.

The two steps can be carried out one after the other in the order a) and b). It is possible to carry out both steps at least partially at the same time.

In step a) a single base plate element can be aligned. However, it is also possible for several base plate elements to be aligned at the same time or at different times. The alignment is preferably carried out in such a way that the base plate element is arranged in or on a pocket of the sanitary basin. The alignment is preferably carried out in such a way that a bolt is guided through the receptacle of the sanitary basin and the recess in the base plate element.

During step b), the additional equipment is preferably braced against the sanitary basin and (simultaneously) the sanitary basin against the building wall by means of the at least one bolt. A screw connection is particularly suitable for this purpose.

Step a) may include inserting the base plate member into a slot in a side surface of the sanitary bowl. The slot can be provided in a sanitary bowl side wall and support the insertion or positioning of the base plate element in interior areas of the sanitary bowl.

The explanations of the additional equipment and/or the sanitary basin can also serve to characterize the process, and vice versa. In particular, the sanitary basin disclosed here can be installed using this method.

According to a further aspect, the use of an additional piece of equipment proposed here or a sanitary basin proposed here for the space-saving and assembly-friendly storage of sanitary articles in the vicinity of a sanitary basin is proposed. The explanations of the additional equipment and/or the sanitary basin can also serve to characterize the use, and vice versa.

The present invention enables a particularly time- and cost-saving possibility of providing accessory holding elements in sanitary facilities and/or in the vicinity of the sanitary basin. In particular, separate brackets on the building wall can be avoided, which means that the effort for renovation, etc. can also be reduced. As a result, larger wall areas are also available for decorative elements in the bathroom. In addition, a coherent set of additional equipment and sanitary basins can be provided together. Finally, safety is also improved in that the attachment point for the additional equipment is "concealed" and thus protected against vandalism or damage, which is of particular importance in sanitary rooms in public areas.

Each of the additional pieces of equipment 1 (designed the same) has a base plate element 7 which has a single recess 8 which can be positioned to overlap with the receptacle 3 of the sanitary basin 2 (see FIG 1 and 2 ). For this purpose, a pocket 10 is provided on the rear side 4 , which forms a contact or guide surface for the base plate elements 7 . These are designed in such a way that, when assembled, the base plate elements 7 are located between the sanitary basin 2 and the building wall 6 and are braced with the fastening means 15 (see also 3 ).
