Protective coverings in general are intended to protect the nose and mouth area from the absorption of harmful dust and also in particular from bacteria and viruses or to protect third parties from the absorption of exhaled particles.

The known protective coverings generally include simple filter materials that become soaked with moisture and exhaled excretions during ongoing use, so that it is often not comfortable to wear and the wearer often quickly takes off the protective covering, thereby endangering the environment and also the wearer himself becomes.

The object of the present invention is to cause the wearer to put on the protective device for a sufficiently long time.
