Description
Technisches Gebiettechnical field
The present invention relates to a communication method for the secure transmission of electronic information and a communication system for the secure transmission of electronic information.
Beschreibung des Standes der TechnikDescription of the prior art
Methods for transmitting electronic information, for example as messages or letters, often referred to as e-mails for short, are known. The transmission of electronic mail typically works in that a user as the sender opens a locally installed e-mail program or one that can be operated via a web browser (mail user agent) and writes a message. As the recipient, he specifies the electronic address (e-mail address) of the recipient, which must be known to him. This consists of a domain part and a local part, which are composed according to the pattern local-part@partdomain-part. The e-mail address uniquely identifies the owner of an e-mail mailbox on a recipient mail server. The e-mail to be sent includes the header, the so-called header, which contains information about the sender, the date and time of sending, the subject of the e-mail or the name of the addressee(s) of the message, and the actual The content to be transmitted, the so-called body, which includes text, images, documents (possibly also as an attachment), etc. After the e-mail has been sent, it is routed via the internet to the mail server of the sender's e-mail provider and sent in its entirety (i.e. header and body) via the internet to the recipient's mail server. The step of sending from the sender mail server via the Internet is only omitted if both the user and the recipient have their e-mail accounts with the same e-mail provider.

Zusammenfassung der ErfindungSummary of the Invention
Proceeding from this, a communication method with the features of claim 1 and a communication system with the features of claim 6 are proposed according to the invention.
The finding of the invention is based on increasing the security in the transmission of electronic information in that a recipient only informed by sending an input note on the receipt of electronic information intended for him and him a download link to download directly for him certain electronic information(s) is made available, by means of which he/she can download the electronic information via a secure connection. This measure achieves 1:1 communication, so to speak, bypassing an uncontrollable transmission route via the Internet. Secure transmission is provided without a complex encryption process.
According to the invention, content information contained in the electronic information to be transmitted is stored in a first step and the recipient is informed on the basis of contact information also contained in the electronic information to be transmitted about the existence of the content information intended for him. The invention only requires the sender to register before it can be used for the first time, but not the recipient.
The present description also covers a computer program with program code that is suitable for executing a method according to the invention when the computer program runs on a processor chip card. Both the computer program itself and the one stored on a computer-readable medium (computer program product) are claimed.
Further advantages and refinements of the invention result from the dependent claims, the description and the attached drawing.
It goes without saying that the features mentioned above and those still to be explained below can be used not only in the combination specified in each case, but also in other combinations or on their own, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
The invention is illustrated schematically in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment and is described in detail below with reference to the drawing.

Identical and similar features shown in the individual figures are denoted by the same reference symbols.
The invention is described below by way of example with reference to the illustrated embodiments relating to the transmission of electronic information in the form of electronic mail.
The sender S sends the completed e-mail to an assigned mail server MS (arrow P1) to which the computer PCS of the sender S is connected directly, i.e. via a secure connection (i.e. not “conventionally” via the Internet).
The mail server MS receives the electronic letter and stores it at a storage location in a
Der Mailserver MS umfasst eine Recheneinrichtung bzw. Prozessoreinheit/CPU 14, mittels welcher folgende computerimplementierten Verfahrensschritte ausgeführt werden. The mail server MS includes a computing device or processor unit/
The mail server MS identifies a contact date of the recipient E. This contact date is preferably contained directly or indirectly in the e-mail address used by the sender S. For example, the contact data can be a mobile phone number of the recipient E. The use of the cell phone number proves to be particularly advantageous since the recipient E can be clearly identified and reached via his cell phone number. For example, an e-mail address is used according to the invention, the local part of which is the mobile phone number, i.e. it is structured according to the model mobile phone number@domain part. This makes it easier to identify the required contact data of the recipient E. However, other procedures are also possible within the scope of the invention. For example, the mobile phone number of the recipient E can be stored in a register from which the mail server MS can identify the mobile phone number using the email address of the recipient E that is used and can be assigned. The previously explained use of an e-mail address with a mobile phone number contained therein has the advantage that the recipient E does not have to register and his telephone number does not have to be stored.
After identifying the contact date, the mail server MS generates a link document (download link) that refers to the storage location of the e-mail intended for the recipient E and is designed to enable the recipient E to download the e-mail.
The mail server MS then generates a message to be sent to the recipient E, which message contains the link document generated. With this message, the recipient E has one for him certain received e-mail and he is invited to download this e-mail with the help of the transmitted link document.
At least one header date of the electronic letter to be extracted by the mail server MS can be attached to this message, for example. Data contained in the header of an e-mail regularly includes, among other things, a sender information and a subject. The message to be sent to the recipient E can therefore contain, in addition to the link document generated, information that enables the recipient E to classify the e-mail intended for him more precisely, such as, for example, “You have received an e-mail from the sender S received" or "You have received an email from sender S with the subject XYZ".
The message generated in this way is transmitted to the recipient E using the identified contact date, preferably their mobile phone number, as shown (arrow P2). This message is preferably sent via an SMS service, alternatively services such as e-mail or messenger are possible. The recipient E receives this message on a mobile device, in particular a mobile phone ME. The message such as "You have received an e-mail from sender S with the subject XYZ" is displayed on the mobile phone screen along with the generated link document (download link). By clicking on the download link, the recipient E can retrieve the e-mail intended for him directly from the mail server MS (double arrow P3).
To retrieve/download the e-mail, the recipient E, for example, is authenticated, as will be explained in more detail below. For example, a 2-factor authentication known to the person skilled in the art is suitable for this. After successful authentication, the e-mail is loaded onto the mobile phone ME of the recipient E, where he can read and edit it. This measure further increases the security of the invention.
As already described above, the sender S writes an e-mail (S10) and sends it (P1). The server or mail server MS receives the e-mail (S12). In the exemplary embodiment shown, the server MS is designed, for example, as a so-called connect server, i.e. the server MS is connected to the computer PCS of the sender S by means of a data line and receives electronic information from the computer PCS that is created or stored on this computer PCS. created and then sent. The connection by means of a data line can be made directly (e.g. as part of a local area network (LAN), which can be internal to the company, for example). The connection between the computer PCS and the server MS can be designed as a secure connection. For example, the connection can be in the form of a virtual private network (VPN). Alternatively, the server MS can also be in the form of a cloud server. In this case, the sender S would create a connection to the server via a computer or a mobile device and log on to the server. The electronic information to be transmitted could then be uploaded to the server, for example, or created on an application (e-mail client) running on the cloud server.
After the electronic information to be transmitted has been received or received, it is stored by the server MS (S14), for example in a
The recipient E accepts the message with the download link and a possible explanatory message. If he wants to receive the electronic information intended for him, he activates (S24) the download link in the usual way (e.g. by double-clicking or the like). This sends an access request to the server MS (S26), which can trigger a known authentication process, e.g. a 2-factor authentication (S28) upon receipt.
After successful authentication, the server MS retrieves the stored e-mail from the assigned storage device 10 (S30), possibly connected with a decryption. The retrieved e-mail is then downloaded to the recipient's terminal (S32).
Der Server MS kann zum Abschluss noch eine Status-Information (Download-Bestätigung / Empfangsbestätigung / Lesebestätigung) erzeugen und an den Absender S übermitteln (S34).Finally, the server MS can generate status information (download confirmation/receipt confirmation/read confirmation) and transmit it to the sender S (S34).
