Solche Schlupfregelungen sind beispielsweise eine Blockierschutz-, Antriebsschlupf- und/oder Fahrdynamikregelung/elektronisches Stabilitätsprogramm, wofür die Abkürzungen ABS, ASR und/oder FDR/ESP üblich sind. Fahrdynamikregelungen beziehungsweise elektronische Stabilitätsprogramme werden umgangssprachlich auch als Schleuderschutzregelungen bezeichnet.
