Description
The invention relates to a medical protective glove, in particular surgical gloves.
In general, non-sterile protective gloves, by means of which contact with infectious material or hazardous substances is prevented, as well as sterile protective gloves are known.
Furthermore, patents exist in the prior art for gloves with different wall thicknesses.
The prior art discloses either thinner or thicker wall thicknesses for sterile surgical gloves. Thinner wall thicknesses lead to an improved tactile sensitivity, but have a higher risk of damage due to the material thickness. In contrast, gloves with a larger wall thickness offer better protection against mechanical stress, but have a significantly reduced tactile sensation.

Furthermore, the material used in the prior art for medical gloves, in particular surgical gloves, natural latex rubber or acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber. These materials show weaknesses in particular when subjected to mechanical stress, which leads to micro and macro cracks in the gloves. Furthermore, these materials have antigens and can therefore trigger allergies in both patients and users.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
It is therefore the object of the invention to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a protective glove, in particular a sterile surgical protective glove, which offers increased protection against damage, in particular due to mechanical loads, and thereby enables increased tactile sensitivity.
It is the object of the invention to provide a protective glove which offers increased protection against damage, in particular due to mechanical loads occurring at certain points, and thereby enables an increased tactile sensation.
It is also an object of the invention to provide a particularly tear-resistant and anti-allergic protective glove.
This problem is solved by the features listed in the claims.

According to various embodiments, the molded or attached material is molded or placed on the inside of the protective glove. However, it is also conceivable that the material that has been cast on or placed on is cast on or placed on the outside of the protective glove.
The recesses are particularly preferably arranged on the inside of the protective glove. This prevents liquids, dirt, etc., which act on the glove from outside, from being deposited in the recesses. However, an arrangement of the recesses on the outside of the glove is also conceivable.
The protective glove according to the invention extremely advantageously has a tear-resistant and / or hypoallergenic material, the tear-resistant and / or hypoallergenic material comprising polyurethane polymer.
Another advantageous embodiment is a smooth transition from one wall thickness to the next wall thickness.
The advantage of the protective glove according to the invention is that the wall of the protective glove has singular wall thickness gradients, and as a result the mechanical stress centers are particularly reinforced in order to reduce the intraoperative damage and ensure the tightness of the glove. The important tactile sensation remains intact, the risk of damage is reduced.
With the proposed protective glove, damage caused by the singular wall thickness gradient in the mechanical stress zones is reduced. By incorporating recesses, for example circular recesses, the tactile sensation remains partially unaffected. This ensures greater patient safety and better self-protection for the OR staff.
The stress zones can be determined on the basis of research or evaluation results of already damaged protective gloves. For example, the stress zones in endoprosthesis operations are different from those in minimally invasive arthroscopy operations or in intestinal operations. According to the main stress zones analyzed, the wall thickness is reinforced and can thus guarantee better protection against micro (≤ 1mm) and macro damage (> 1mm).
The use of polyurethane polymers significantly improves the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the glove. Due to the material properties, it can be used by allergy sufferers. This results in significantly improved patient safety and better self-protection for the OR staff.
