Bei einem Klappdach ist die Außenhaut von den starren Dachschalen gebildet, die an dem Verdeckgestänge gelagert sind. Zudem ist in der Regel ein Innenhimmel vorgesehen, der Stoffabschnitte und Innenverkleidungen umfassen kann und der in der Schließstellung des Verdecks eine Sichtfläche bildet, welche vom Fahrzeuginnenraum aus sichtbar ist. Der Innenhimmel ist also komplett oder abschnittsweise selbst Bestandteil einer Beleuchtungs-, Bedienungs- und/oder Informationseinrichtung. Es lassen sich damit so genannte Ambiente-Licht-Leuchtmittel oder sonstige leuchtende Elemente in den Innenhimmel des Cabriolet-Verdecks nach der Erfindung integrieren. Der lichtdurchlässige Bereich des Innenhimmels ist als Flächenlicht und/oder auch als leuchtende Bedien- und/oder Informationsfläche nutzbar.
