Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Bestimmen eines Wasserstands in einem Umgebungsbereich eines Fahrzeugs (5) mittels eines Ultraschallsensors (3), dessen Haupterfassungsrichtung (H) parallel zu einer Fahrzeughochachse (Z) nach unten verläuft. - - falls der zeitliche Versatz außerhalb des vorgegebenen Wertebereichs liegt, Bestimmen des Wasserstands anhand des zeitlichen Versatzes,
- - falls der zeitliche Versatz innerhalb des vorgegebenen Wertebereichs liegt, Bestimmen eines zeitlichen Versatzes zwischen dem Sendesignal und zumindest einem weiteren Empfangsecho des Empfangssignals für das Bestimmen des Wasserstands.
