The object of the present invention is to create a charging device for charging a mobile electronic terminal, a method for operating a charging device and a motor vehicle with a charging device, which enable both information to be output to a person and the mobile electronic terminal to be charged.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a charging device for charging a mobile electronic terminal and by a method for operating a charging device having the features of the independent claims. Advantageous configurations with expedient developments of the invention are specified in the respective dependent claims and in the following description.
A first aspect of the invention relates to a charging device for charging a mobile electronic terminal. The charging device has a light guide device which provides a support surface for the mobile electronic terminal and by means of which light can be guided and coupled out in the direction of the support surface. The light guide device was a flat luminous body. The light guide device can in particular have at least one transparent area by means of which light can be guided. Furthermore, the charging device comprises a charging device which is arranged behind the light guide device on a side opposite the support surface and by means of which the mobile electronic terminal can be charged in a contactless manner. This means that the charging device, which is set up in particular to be arranged in an interior of a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger vehicle, comprises the charging device for contactless charging of the mobile electronic terminal. The charging device is set up to provide electrical energy in an energy transmission direction for the mobile electronic terminal. The light guide device is arranged above the charging device and overlapping with the charging device, intersecting the direction of energy transmission. The light guide device is set up to decouple light for providing a light signal on its side facing away from the charging device, in particular the support surface. In particular, the light signal will intersect the energy transmission direction and output covering the charging device on the side of the light guide device facing away from the charging device. Thus, the light signal is outputted overlapping with the support surface at least in the energy transmission direction. The energy transmission direction runs from the charging device on the shortest path to the mobile electronic terminal arranged on the support surface. The charging device can be an inductive charging device, by means of which the mobile electronic terminal can be charged inductively, provided it is located on the support surface. The charging device can additionally have a light source by means of which light can be coupled into the light guide device, wherein the light signal can be provided by coupling out the coupled light. By means of the light signal, it is particularly easy to send to a person Way information can be output. Here, the light signal can, for example, characterize a storage state of a battery of the mobile electronic terminal, the storage state representing an amount of electrical energy stored in the battery. As an alternative or in addition, the light signal can characterize a state of charge of the charging device, wherein the state of charge can represent a charging power of the charging device. Consequently, the person can be informed particularly easily about the charge status and / or the memory status by means of the light signal.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that a decorative layer is arranged on the support surface of the light guide device. The decorative layer has at least one transparent and at least one opaque area for shaping the light signal. In particular, the decorative layer can predetermine a contour of the light signal by means of the at least one transparent and the at least one opaque area. The transparent area is to be understood as a translucent area of the decorative layer, the opaque area being understood to mean an opaque area of the decorative layer. As an alternative or in addition to the transparent area of the decorative layer, the decorative layer can have a translucent area, the translucent area being understood to mean an area of the decorative layer which is translucent but not transparent like the transparent area. The decorative layer has the advantage that the light signal can be output in a precisely defined manner for the person.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the light guide device and / or the decorative layer have silicone. In particular, the light guide device can be a flexible silicone mat, by means of which light can be guided and can be coupled out at least in the direction of the support surface. The advantage of the fact that the light guide device and / or the decorative layer is made of silicone is that the silicone enables particularly high flexibility and elasticity of the light guide device. In addition, silicone has a particularly high mechanical abrasion resistance and is resistant to a wide variety of chemicals. The light guide device comprising silicon is flexible, break-proof and splinter-free and can be used over a particularly large temperature range.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the light guide device covers the charging device at least 50 percent, in particular at least 80 percent. Here the light guide device is arranged to cover the charging device in the energy transmission direction and to intersect the energy transmission direction. Covering the charging device by the light guide device at least 50 percent, in particular at least 90 percent, in particular 100 percent, enables the charging device to be protected against damage in a particularly advantageous manner.
A second aspect of the invention relates to a method for operating the charging device according to the invention, in which light emitted by the light source is coupled into the light guide device and the light that is coupled in is decoupled to provide the light signal by means of the light guide device in the direction of the support surface. The light source can be part of the charging device. Alternatively, the light source can be external to the charging device, with a control signal for the light source being able to be provided for controlling the light source by means of the charging device. In the method, the light signal is consequently provided by decoupling the light coupled into the light guide device, in particular in order to inform a person by means of the light signal.
In this context, it has proven to be advantageous if light is coupled into the light guide device by means of the light source, provided that electrical energy is transmitted from the charging device to the mobile electronic terminal. This means that it is determined whether electrical energy is provided by the charging device for the mobile electronic terminal and the electrical energy is received by means of the mobile electrical terminal. If the transmission of the electrical energy from the charging device to the mobile electrical terminal is determined, the coupling of light into the light guide device is triggered by means of the charging device. As a result of the coupling of the light into the light guide device, the light is guided by means of the light guide device and is decoupled from the light guide device in the direction of the support surface. Here, the light is coupled out in particular at the support surface. In this way, the person can be informed in a particularly advantageous manner by means of the light signal that the contactless transfer of energy is taking place from the charging device to the mobile electronic terminal.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the light signal is output dynamically by means of the light source. In order to enable the light signal to be output dynamically, it is provided that light is dynamically, that is to say changed over time, coupled into the light guide device by means of the light source. In this way, a light course and / or a blinking of the light coupled out on the support surface can be brought about. The dynamic output of the light signal enables a particularly large amount of information to be output to the person by means of the light signal.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it has proven to be advantageous if a memory state of the mobile electronic terminal is determined and a color and / or a brightness of the coupled-in light is set as a function of the memory state by means of the light source. This means that the memory status of the battery of the mobile electronic terminal is determined and transmitted to the charging device. The charging device effects a setting of the light signal as a function of the determined memory state of the mobile electronic terminal, the light source being controlled by means of the charging device as a function of the memory state. To set the light signal by means of the light source, the color and thus a wavelength of the coupled light and / or a brightness and thus an intensity of the light coupled into the light guide device can be adjusted as a function of the memory state in order to adjust the light signal. Thus, the person can be informed about the storage status of the battery of the mobile electronic terminal by means of the color and / or the brightness and possibly by means of a dynamic of the light signal.
It has also proven to be advantageous if ambient lighting is determined and a color and / or brightness of the coupled-in light is set by means of the light source as a function of the ambient lighting. The ambient lighting is lighting of the surroundings of the charging device, the lighting being able to be characterized by a wavelength spectrum and / or a light intensity. Due to the determination of the ambient lighting, the light signal can be adapted, for example, to a light or dark environment and / or to ambient lighting in the vicinity of the charging device, in particular in a motor vehicle. In this way, it can be avoided in particular that the person is dazzled by the light signal or that the person overlooks the light signal due to a slight separation of the light signal from his surroundings. A particularly advantageous informing of the person by means of the light signal is thus possible in the case of a respective ambient lighting, since the light signal is adapted to the respective ambient lighting.
A third aspect relates to a motor vehicle with a charging device according to the invention, which is set up to be operated by means of a method according to the invention. Advantages and advantageous configurations of the respective aspects of the invention are to be regarded as advantages and advantageous configurations of the respective other aspects of the invention. For this reason, the advantages and advantageous configurations of the motor vehicle according to the invention are not described again here.
