Known holders, which are mounted, for example, for fastening a cell phone in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, have a number of disadvantages.

For example, systems are known in which a holding arm is attached to the windshield using a suction device. Here, on the one hand, the assembly is cumbersome and, depending on the quality of the holding device, the holder is detached from the windshield during driving. The object attached to the bracket can be damaged and dangerous traffic situations can result from distraction of the driver. The driver's view is further restricted due to the suction device mounted on the windshield. In addition, such mounts are aesthetically unappealing, so that they are not particularly popular for high-quality vehicles, because they do not fit harmoniously into the overall picture of the interior.

In addition, brackets are known which are, for example, non-positively attached to ventilation louvres of the air outlets of the heating or air conditioning device of a motor vehicle.

It is disadvantageous here that the slats can be damaged when the clamp connection is made. Another disadvantage is that the connection of the bracket to the vehicle is not rigid due to the flexibility and mobility of the slats, so that there may be movements or even a loosening of the object attached to the bracket while driving.

Furthermore, holders for fastening an object, such as a cell phone or the like, within the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle are known, which are firmly screwed to the center console with the aid of screw connections. The disadvantage here is that the center console is damaged by attaching the bracket, and the bracket can not be removed without residue, since the mounting holes of the bracket remain on the center console.

US 2005/0218 681 A1 describes a portable shelf for use in multiple locations in the interior of a vehicle.

Against this background, the present invention is based on the technical problem of specifying a holder for fastening an object in a motor vehicle, which does not have the disadvantages described above or at least to a lesser extent, and in particular enables simple and reliable assembly. Furthermore, a motor vehicle with such a bracket is to be specified.

The technical problem described above is solved by a holder according to claim 1 and a motor vehicle according to claim 10. Further developments of the invention result from the dependent claims and the description below.
