Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a pneumatic tire with noise absorber and a pneumatic vehicle tire produced by the method.
The said release agents must be removed before an adhesive is applied to ensure sufficient adhesion to a sound absorber.
The present invention has for its object to provide a method for producing a pneumatic vehicle tire with a sound absorber, which is relatively simple and in particular can be dispensed with a complex cleaning step, especially after the demolding of the tire from the vulcanization mold.
- a) Aufbringen wenigstens eines Haftvermittlers auf die Fläche des Fahrzeugluftreifens;
- b) Aufbringen wenigstens eines Klebemittels zumindest auf die Bereiche der Fläche, die mit dem Haftvermittler versehen sind;
- a) applying at least one adhesion promoter to the surface of the pneumatic vehicle tire;
- b) applying at least one adhesive to at least the areas of the surface provided with the adhesion promoter;
- c) applying at least one noise absorber at least to the areas of the surface which is provided with at least one adhesion promoter and at least one adhesive.
Characterized in that at least one adhesion promoter is applied to the surface of the tire before adhesive and sound absorber are applied, can be dispensed with the otherwise required cleaning.
The application of the at least one adhesion promoter is less complicated compared to a cleaning step; A cleaning step would have in particular the goal of completely removing release agent residues or other impurities from the surface to which the sound absorber is to be applied.
Thus, the method according to the invention is a comparatively simple method.
The application of the at least one adhesion promoter according to step a) can be carried out in any manner known to those skilled in the art. The application of the at least one adhesion promoter preferably takes place with at least one spraying device, in particular a spray plate or a spray gun.
Here, the entire surface is provided with primer or only parts thereof.
The pneumatic vehicle tire is preferred and in particular vulcanized, ie it has been vulcanized prior to step a), in a manner known to those skilled in the art, such as in particular in a vulcanization mold and with bladder and then demolded therefrom as described above. In particular, this vulcanized tire due to manufacturing impurities, in particular of release agents, which now need not be laboriously removed with the inventive method. Thus, the method is particularly suitable for providing vulcanized pneumatic vehicle tires with the primer, the adhesive and the sound absorber.
The application of the adhesion promoter can be applied to the cooled vulcanized or heated by the vulcanization vehicle pneumatic tires. Preferably, the pneumatic vehicle tire is first cooled after vulcanization and the adhesion promoter is applied to the cooled vehicle pneumatic tire.
The surface of the pneumatic vehicle tire to which adhesion promoters, adhesives and sound absorbers are applied can, in principle, be any surface on which a noise absorber for use over a relatively long period of time, in particular for a long service life and the service life of the tire, can be attached.
It is preferred to attach the at least one sound absorber inside the tire, as described above on the inner surface opposite the tread. The surface can be of any conceivable size and depends on the geometry and dimensions of the sound absorber.
In principle, the noise absorber may be any element or combination of elements which may preferably be adhered to its interior surface in a pneumatic vehicle tire and which reduce / reduce the noise emission of the tire during driving. According to a preferred embodiment, the at least one sound absorber is at least one porous damping element. In particular, porous materials have the advantage that, in addition to the noise absorption, they at the same time bring in a not too high dead weight in the tire, so that the rolling resistance properties of the tire are not unnecessarily impaired.
The porous material of which the damping element is formed is, for example, selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, in particular polyurethane foams on a polyether base and / or polyurethane foams on a polyester basis with a density of 18 to 300 kg / m 3 , preferably 30 to 35 kg / m 3 , and a hardness of 1 to 10, preferably 3 to 6.5 kilo-pascal, as well as any porous, sound-absorbing material mixtures, such as glass or rock wool, sling or high pile or nonwoven materials or cork. Other possible porous materials that are suitable for use as a damping element, for example, a melamine resin foam or a construction foam.
Particularly preferably, the noise absorber, preferably at least one porous damping element, contains at least one polyurethane. Polyurethane is particularly suitable due to its specific density and other material properties as well as availability.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the porous damping element is a closed or opened sound-absorbing foam ring in the direction of rotation. This ensures even sound absorption and the tire retains its uniformity. The ring may be closed in the direction of rotation or be present in the form of an open strip, with the ends of the strip may touch but not need or may overlap.
The foam of the foam ring is preferably an open cell foam because it is best suited to absorb sound.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one sound absorber or the at least one porous damping element is a closed sound-absorbing foam ring made of polyurethane, particularly preferably a polyether-based polyurethane foam.
Such foams are known in the art.
In addition, the sound absorber or the sound absorber may have any shape, such as. e.g. individual elements in the form of blocks, strips or the like, which can be combined with each other as desired.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one sound absorber or the at least one porous damping element is designed as individual elements, for example in the form of blocks or strips. As a result, the sound absorbers can be flexibly arranged as needed. Here, the individual elements may be distributed regularly or irregularly.
The individual elements are preferably made of at least one foam, preferably of open-cell foam, more preferably polyurethane, most preferably a polyether-based polyurethane foam.
The surface on which adhesion promoters, adhesives and sound absorbers are applied is preferably at least around an inner surface of the tire, particularly preferably around the inner surface opposite the tread. This surface is usually and preferably formed by the inner layer (inner liner, inner liner) of the pneumatic vehicle tire.
Here, the entire surface or radially inwardly directed and the tread opposite surface of the tire, in particular the tread opposite surface of the inner layer, provided with primer and adhesive or only parts thereof.
Subsequent to the application of the at least one adhesion promoter, according to step b), the application of at least one adhesive takes place at least on the areas of the surface which are provided with the adhesion promoter.
The application of the adhesive can be carried out in any manner known to those skilled in the art. Preferably, the application of the at least an adhesive with at least one spraying device, such as in particular a spray plate or a spray gun.
For optimal distribution of the bonding agent and the adhesive on the inner surface of the tire in steps a) and b) can be set in rotation.
Subsequently, in accordance with step c), the application of at least one noise absorber takes place at least over the areas of the surface which are provided with at least one adhesion promoter and at least one adhesive.
The adhesion promoter may in principle be any substance which is suitable for a rubber surface.
In this case, different mechanisms for adhesion can contribute.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the adhesion promoter is compatible with constituents of the tire components, such as the inner layer, resulting in a chemical bond, and thus a very good bonding, of the adhesive via the bonding agent to these tire components, such as the inner layer.
For this purpose, the adhesion promoter preferably comprises at least one organic chemical compound which has at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of alkoxy, epoxy, and halide radicals. As a result, the adhesion promoter is particularly compatible with the constituents of the rubber mixture of the tire inner layer or other adjacent or surrounding tire components. For this purpose, the adhesion promoter preferably comprises at least one organofunctional silane. Particularly preferably, the silane has at least one alkoxy group.
It is particularly preferred that the alkoxy group is selected from the group consisting of methoxy, ethoxy, propoxy groups.
It is also preferable if the silane has at least one epoxy group. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the adhesion promoter comprises the compound 3-glycidyloxypropyltriethoxysilane which z. B. under the trade name Dynasylan® GLYMO Fa. Evonik is available.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the adhesion promoter serves to wash out and swell the surface to which it is applied or to which the adhesives and sound absorbers are applied. In particular, the outer surface to which the adhesion promoter is applied is swollen, so that a three-dimensional structure results, namely, the surface is, for example, up to 1 to 20 .mu.m, preferably 10 to 20 .mu.m, deeply swollen. As a result, the later applied adhesive can then penetrate into this structure, resulting in a very good adhesion. By way of example and preferably, the surface is at least parts of the inner layer of the vehicle tire.
For this purpose, the adhesion promoter preferably comprises at least one solvent, more preferably at least one organic solvent.
The organic solvent is preferably selected from the group consisting of cyclohexane, n-alkanes with n = 5 to 10 and preferably n = 6 to 8, xylene, preferably an isomeric mixture of xylene isomers, acetone, isopropanol, ethanol, ethylbenzene and tetrahydrofuran , Here, a mixture of two or more of said solvents is conceivable.
Particularly preferably, the adhesion promoter here comprises at least one mixture of at least one polar with at least one non-polar organic solvent. Preferred organic polar solvents are in particular acetone, isopropanol and ethanol, it being possible for one or a mixture of the solvents mentioned to be present in the adhesion promoter.
Preferred organic nonpolar solvents are, in particular, cyclohexane and n-alkanes where n = 6 to 8 (ie hexane, heptane, and octane), it being possible for one or a mixture of the solvents mentioned to be present in the adhesion promoter.
By way of example and with preference as coupling agent of the described embodiment, a mixture comprising a plurality of solvents, and thereby at least one polar and at least one non-polar, is used.
A suitable mixture is available, for example under the trade name tesa ® 60153, which contains cyclohexane, an isomer mixture of xylene, acetone, isopropanol, petroleum and ethylbenzene.
In comparison with the adhesive, the adhesion promoter is applied in smaller amounts, so that the adhesion promoter forms or forms a comparatively thin layer. By contrast, the adhesive is applied comparatively thickly, preferably with an average layer thickness of 0.05 to 10 mm.
- a) Klebemittel, die durch UV- oder Feuchtigkeit vernetzen, insbesondere Einkomponenten-Klebemittel die durch äußeren Einfluss vernetzt werden;
- b) Zwei-Komponenten-Klebemittel, die auf der Vernetzung von wenigstens zwei verschiedenen Substanzen basieren, wie z. B. der Reaktion zu Polyurethan-basierten Verbindungen oder Epoxy-Verbindungen;
- c) Lösungsmittel-basierte Klebemittel, bei denen das Lösungsmittel nach erfolgter Applikation verdampft;
The adhesive may be the following adhesives:
- a) Adhesives which crosslink by UV or moisture, in particular one-component adhesives which are crosslinked by external influence;
- b) two-component adhesives based on the crosslinking of at least two different substances, such as e.g. B. the reaction to polyurethane-based compounds or epoxy compounds;
- c) solvent-based adhesives in which the solvent evaporates after application;
- d) hot melts which are heated to their melting point and then applied and then cooled again, and in particular ethylene vinyl acetates, polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters, styrene block copolymers, polycarbonates and Polycaprolactame include.
The adhesive can be based on carbon atoms, such as acrylates and methacrylates or polyurethane-based adhesives, or on silicon atoms, such as silicone-based adhesives.
According to a preferred embodiment, the adhesive is a polyurethane-based adhesive, all derivatives and mixtures of polyurethanes suitable as adhesives being included.
Another object of the present invention is a pneumatic vehicle tire, which is made according to the inventive method described above inclusive of all embodiments.
At this point it is emphasized that the adhesive does not replace the usually existing inner layer of the pneumatic vehicle tire. Instead, the pneumatic vehicle tire according to the invention has all other components (ie, tread, sidewall, carcass ply, belt, inner layer, etc.) as known in the art.
The pneumatic vehicle tire may or may not have an inner layer. In principle, it is also conceivable that the sound absorber adheres by means of adhesion promoter and adhesive to another tire component.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the pneumatic vehicle tire has an innerliner containing at least one halobutyl rubber and / or at least one butyl rubber, the adhesive comprising the above-mentioned constituents in the tire interior on the radially inwardly directed surface of the inner layer adheres to the attachment of the sound absorber.

As a result, the adhesive layer
The adhesive is introduced in such an amount that the thickness of the adhesive is between 0.05 mm and 10 mm. At least immediately after application, the adhesive should be relatively fluid in order to achieve optimum distribution of the adhesive over the surface and also to be sticky. At this time, according to step c) as a sound absorber
