Abstract

Verfahren zur leichten und genauen Übersetzung von ICD-Codes durch vertikales und horizontales Suchen und gleichzeitiger Darstellung in allen Sprachen der Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO).Ein um einen Sprach-Algorithmus erweitertes Selektionsverfahren, welches es erlaubt, die als ICD-Code, Diagnose oder Symptom eingegebenen Suchbegriffe in gewünschter Zielsprache über eine leicht bedienbare grafische Bedieneroberfläche zu finden, anstatt in mehreren Listen bzw. auf verschiedenen Webseiten zu suchen.Das Suchen über den Selektor nach der vordefinierten Übersetzung einer Diagnose oder klinischen Pathologie in einer oder allen der 12 WHO-Sprachen, umfasst die Eingabe eines Begriffs, der möglicherweise aus einem einzelnen Wort der Diagnose oder der klinischen Pathologie besteht. Als Reaktion auf den ursprünglichen vertikalen Befund oder „Treffer“ wird vertikal nach einer weiteren Unterdiagnose gesucht, die sich auf den ursprünglichen Begriff oder Deskriptor bezieht. Um international Krankheiten und verwandte Gesundheitsprobleme zu klassifizieren, wurde ICD-10-WHO entwickelt. Dies ermöglicht es durch die Angabe eines einfachen Codes ein Krankheitsbild zu vermitteln. Im Wesentlichen ist der ICD-Code-WHO aufgeteilt in Klassentitel, Gruppen, Kategorien und Subkategorien. Schwierigkeiten bereitet dies jedoch jenen, die weder der medizinischen, noch der englischen Sprache mächtig sind. Zudem ist die Handhabung oftmals mühselig.
Die bisherige Verfahrensart bei der Selektierung des jeweiligen ICD-Codes und der anschließenden Übersetzung erfolgte durchTo classify international diseases and related health problems, ICD-10-WHO was developed. Die Nutzung des Verfahrens unter Option-Nr.: 1 verdeutlicht das Erfordernis einer weitreichenden Kenntnis über die ICD-Codes.
Auch muss der Zugriff auf eine ICD-Code Liste in der gewünschten Sprache möglich sein. Gerade bei Auslandsaufenthalten erscheint dies relativ untauglich. Insbesondere wenn ein Patient im Ausland weder Zugang zu der Code-Liste in seiner Muttersprache hat, noch sich mit der Vielzahl der Codes auskennt, gestaltet sich die Kommunikation mit dem lokalen Arzt als besonders schwierig.The use of the procedure under option # 1 illustrates the need for extensive knowledge of the ICD codes.

Zusätzlich kann aufgrund der Verknüpfung mit einem Sprach-Algorithmus zwischen verschiedenen Sprachen ausgewählt werden. Auch eine reziproke Anwendung ist möglich, so kann durch Eingabe eines ICD-Codes zum einen das Krankheitsbild erfasst werden, als auch auf (Sub-)Kategorien zugegriffen werden bzw. beides in die gewünschte Sprache übersetzte werden.Particularly noteworthy is that the selection is also used across categories, so that no premature elimination of possible clinical pictures occurs. Mithilfe des Sprach-Algorithmus wird auch die Nutzung in Fremdsprachen ermöglicht. Entscheidend ist die Verknüpfung zweier Algorithmen, dem Selektions-Algorithmus und dem Sprach-Algorithmus, und der Einbettung dieser beiden in eine benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche. Die technische Neuheit findet sich in der Verknüpfung beider Algorithmen. Sämtliche Daten über die ICD-Codes in verschiedenen Sprachen sind abrufbar und können die Kommunikation mit dem Arzt erheblich vereinfachen. Auch wird gewährleistet, dass stets der aktuelle Standard der ICD-Codes verwendet wird (gegenwärtig: ICD-Code 10). Auch Ärzte die mit dem ICD System nicht vertraut sind, können durch das Anklicken der jeweiligen Gruppe und der Weiterleitung in das jeweilige Unterverzeichnis den entsprechenden Code selektieren und ihre Diagnose mit einem internationalen Code bezeichnen lassen.
