Description
The invention relates to a sports bullet for a sports cartridge and a sports bullet with a sports bullet, which is particularly suitable for use in the context of dynamic sports shooting or IPSC shooting (International Practical Shooting Confederation) and at the same time, the regulatory requirements of the Standing International Commission for Examination from Arms à Feu Portatives (CIP; Commission Internationale Permanente pour l 'Epreuve des Armes à Feu Portatives).
Injured by IPSC specifications is armor piercing ammunition, firearms, tracer ammunition and ammunition that shoots more than a single bullet from a single cartridge. In addition to the handguns exemplified here, dynamic IPSC sport shooting can also be carried out with rifles, shotguns, etc. In general, the IPSC rules set relatively high ballistic performance requirements for sports cartridges to meet the minimum power threshold (Minor) required for competition, and very high performance requirements for sports cartridges to achieve major classification.
In addition, all cartridges, including sports cartridges, must comply with safety requirements or regulatory requirements, such as laws. For the European countries in particular the CIP specifications apply, which on the one hand make caliber-dependent cartridge and projectile geometry specifications, in particular with regard to the cartridge case length, the overall projectile length as well as with regard to the train profile and the field profile of the barrel. Furthermore, the CIP regulations set a maximum allowable gas pressure that may occur during the firing of a cartridge in the course of the firearm. For example for cartridges of the caliber 9 mm Luger (also known as 9 mm Para, 9 mm Parabellum, 9 × 19 mm) according to the CIP specification with date 84-06-14, revision 08-09-23 for a CIP measuring run with 150 mm length a mean maximum gas pressure of 2,350 bar. Comparable safety regulations, for example for the USA, follow from the guidelines of the SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute).
As a result of the conflict between the high ballistic performance demanded by the IPSC rule on the one hand and limits in particular with regard to the maximum permissible gas pressure as a result of regulatory requirements, for example according to CIP, the development of a sports projectile or sports cartridge, in particular for use in IPSC sport shooting, is subject to high technical standards challenges.
It is an object of the invention to provide a sports bullet or sports ammunition or a sporting weapon, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular the ISPC regulations preferably for a major classification meets while fulfilling safety requirements, for example, according to C. I. P. and / or SAAMI.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of
Accordingly, a sports floor with a sports cartridge is intended in particular for dynamic IPSC shooting. The sports floor is designed as a preferably encapsulated solid shell projectile especially with lead core and / or copper sheath. The full coat around the preferred lead core serves to improve the environmental compatibility of the sports floor while reducing smoke and pollution. An encapsulated solid shell projectile has a core, for example a lead core, which is completely enveloped by a jacket, for example a copper jacket, which further reduces the smoke and pollutant load and is therefore particularly well suited for use in covered courses. The sports floor according to the invention has a cylindrical guide portion mm holding the sports bullet in a propellant charge case of the sports cartridge and for guiding the sports bullet in a barrel of a sporting weapon. Furthermore, the sports floor on a front portion with tapered end portion. A taper, for example, be at least partially round, in particular ogive-shaped, and / or at least partially conical, in particular frusto-conical. It is clear that the sports floor is a preferably rotationally symmetrical rotation body. The sports floor defines in particular transversely to its longitudinal extent a radial direction. It is clear that a sports cartridge with a sports bullet according to the invention is a preferably rotationally symmetrical body of revolution.
According to the guide section of the sports bullet is offset relative to the front portion in the radial direction to the outside. Preferably, the cylindrical guide portion has a diameter that is constant along the axial direction. The radial offset is provided between the outer diameter of the cylindrical guide portion and the outer diameter, in particular the radially largest outer diameter of the likewise cylindrical front portion of the sports floor. The radial offset is preferably at least 0.01 mm, at least 0.05 mm, at least 0.06 mm, at least 0.075 mm or at least 0.09 mm. The radial offset may be, in particular, not more than 1.00 mm, not more than 0.50 mm, not more than 0.40 mm, not more than 0.30 mm, or not more than 0.20 mm. The radial offset is preferably 0.10 mm ± 0.05 mm, more preferably 0.10 mm ± 0.02 mm, particularly preferably 0.10 mm ± 0.01 mm. It should be understood that the radial offset is preferably defined fully in the radial direction between the outside of the guide portion and the outside of the front portion.
By a sports floor according to the invention is designed such that between the outer diameter of the guide portion and the outer diameter of the front portion of the sports projectile a radial offset is provided, it is achieved that the standing during the firing of the sports projectile with the barrel of the sporting weapon in contact area of the sports floor and the concomitant sliding friction is significantly reduced. In this way, frictional losses can be significantly reduced. By reducing the sliding friction between the sports floor and the barrel, the sports floor according to the invention can achieve significantly higher exit speeds than conventional sports floors. In this way, the power factor score of the sports floor required for the IPSC classification Minor or Major is significantly increased. At the same time, reducing the sliding friction between the sports floor and the barrel means that the propellant expands due to the ignition of the propellant, less resistance is provided by the sports floor than usual, so that the maximum gas pressure occurring at the launch of the sports floor according to the invention can be significantly reduced. By improving the sliding properties of the sports bullet in the barrel, it is surprisingly possible at the same time to achieve a higher ballistic performance and an improved compliance with the C.I.P specifications, in particular with regard to the maximum permissible gas pressure.
Preferably, the sports floor is provided up to a caliber of 20 mm, in particular up to a caliber of 12 mm. Sports cartridges usually consist of a sports floor, a propellant charge, propellant and a primer. The sports floor is the object shot down by the sporting weapon. The weight of a sports bullet may preferably be between 3 g and 20 g, in particular between 5 g and 15 g, particularly preferably between 5.5 g and 9 g. In particular, the sports bullet for the caliber 9 mm Luger, .357 Mag., .40 S & W, .44 Rem. Mag. Or .45 ACP.
Vorzugsweise schließt der Vorderabschnitt des Sportgeschosses in Axialrichtung unmittelbar an die Stufe des Führungsabschnitts an.According to a preferred embodiment of a sports floor according to the invention, the guide section comprises a step, which extends in particular in the radial direction inwards at the front end of the guide section to the front section. Preferably, the step extends transversely to an axial direction of the sports floor. The stage may include a phase and / or a transition radius. In the axial direction, the step extends in particular over less than 0.5 mm, less than 0.2 mm, less than 0.1 mm or less than 0.05 mm, preferably less than 0.01 mm. In particular, the step extends substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the sports projectile. The step can form the front end of the guide section. Preferably, the front portion of the sports bullet connects in the axial direction directly to the step of the guide portion.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports floor according to the invention, which can be combined with the previous, the length of the guide portion or guide length in the axial direction A is less than 50%, in particular less than 40%, preferably less than 30% of the total length of the sports floor. Preferably, the guide length is greater than 5%, preferably greater than 10%, more preferably greater than 20% of the sports floor length. According to a particularly preferred embodiment of a sports projectile according to the invention, the guide length can be between 25% and 30%, in particular between 27% and 29% of the projectile length. The total axial length of the sports floor or sports floor length may be greater than 10 mm and / or less than 20 mm, in particular greater than 12.5 mm and / or smaller than 16 mm, more preferably at least 14 mm and / or at most 15 mm. Particularly preferably, the axial projectile length is between 14.0 mm and 14, 4 mm. Additionally or alternatively, the guide section extends in the axial direction A of the sports floor over a total length or guide length of at least 2 mm and / or at most 6 mm, in particular at least 3 mm and / or at most 5 mm, preferably over at least 3.5 mm and / or at most 4.5 mm, more preferably above about 4 mm. The outer diameter of the guide section is at least in sections, preferably over a large part of the length of the guide section in the axial direction, in particular over the entire length of the guide section Guide section in the axial direction, in particular up to the stage, constant. By making the guide length relatively short in relation to the projectile length, the range of sliding friction between the sports floor and the barrel is minimized. By selecting a minimum guide length ensures that the possibility of a sufficiently deep insertion depth of the sports floor in the cartridge case of the sports cartridge is feasible to keep the solid floor before launching safely in the propellant charge sleeve.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports projectile according to the invention, which can be combined with the previous one, the front section has a preferably cylindrical central section which extends between the guide section and the front section and preferably has a continuously smaller diameter than the diameter of the guide section. The middle section defines a mid-section length which is at least 20%, in particular at least 25%, preferably at least 30%, of the total length of the sports projectile in the axial direction. In particular, the middle section length may extend from the front end of the guide section in the axial direction over at most 60%, preferably at most 50%, particularly preferably at most 45% of the projectile length in the axial direction A and / or less than 7 mm, in particular less than 6 mm, preferably at most 5, 2 mm. According to a particularly preferred embodiment of a sports projectile according to the invention, the middle section length is between 35% and 45% of the projectile length, in particular between 38% and 40%.
The preferably cylindrical central portion may define an outer diameter that extends constant or at least substantially constant in the axial direction between the guide portion and the forehead portion of the sports floor. The preferably constant and / or largest outer diameter of a particular cylindrical central portion may be caliber-dependent smaller, preferably less than 1 mm smaller, more preferably less than 0.1 mm smaller, designed as the field profile diameter of the barrel of the sporting gun. By a sports floor is equipped with a cylindrical or approximately cylindrical central portion which extends over a portion of the sports floor in the axial direction of the front end of the guide section, the available for the sports floor volume can be optimally utilized with limited expansion in the axial direction, so that a bullet with the highest possible mass can be provided. In this way, the power factor score defined according to the IPSC rules of the sports floor according to the invention can be further increased, in particular to achieve the minimum power factor number threshold for minor classification or the threshold for major classification.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports projectile according to the invention, the end portion tapers conically and / or arcuately at least in sections, in particular arcuately ogival. In particular, the end section comprises a cone section with an opening angle of less than 60 °, preferably less than 50 ° and / or greater than 30 °. In particular, the opening angle of the cone section can be about 40 °. Preferably, the top of the projectile is rounded. Between the rounded tip and the tapered end portion, a rounded edge having a radius of 5 mm or less, for example, 1 mm, 2 mm or 3 mm, may be conically arranged. The at least partially conically and / or arcuately tapering section, preferably the cone section, preferably extends in the axial direction over a length of less than 10 mm, in particular less than 6 mm, preferably less than 5 mm. The length of the tapering section, in particular of the cone section, is preferably at least 2 mm, in particular at least 3 mm, preferably at least 4 mm. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the tapering section, in particular the cone section, preferably extends between a particularly rounded tip and a preferably cylindrical central section over a length of 4 mm to 6 mm, in particular 4.5 mm to 5.5 mm, preferably 4 , 7 mm to 4.9 mm. The tapered front section ensures good aerodynamics of the sports floor. Surprisingly, it has been found that even with a deviation from the usually considered as a particularly safe bullet feed necessary Ogivenform good Zuführungs- and flight characteristics can be achieved.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports floor according to the invention, which can be combined with the previous, the sports floor on the rear side has a particular coaxial and / or concentric recess, such as a dome on. A recess can be designed, for example, conical, in particular conical or frusto-conical. Preferably, the recess is realized as a part spherical dome, wherein the radius of the dome may be greater than half the radius of the guide portion. A calotte radius may preferably be between 2 mm and 4 mm. In particular, a calotte radius may be 3 mm ± 0.15 mm. By a recess is introduced at the foot or tail of the sports floor, in particular a dome, the space available for propellant cavity is increased, which is determined by the sports floor and the propellant charge sleeve in which the basement can sit. By the Providing a larger propellant volume, more propellant can be absorbed, which can be converted into more expansion energy to accelerate the projectile to be fired. In this way, a higher exit speed of the sports floor can be achieved from the sports weapon. With regard to the IPSC classification, it has turned out to be particularly favorable if, in the case of a sports floor, both a cutout is made in the rear and a relatively large, in particular cylindrical, middle section is provided.
By taking advantage of the maximum permissible length permitted by C.I.P. Regulations, the maximum possible volume for receiving the mass of the sports bullet, in particular lead core, and the maximum space for receiving propellant can be utilized for the sports cartridge.
Preferably, the sports cartridge is a particular rotationally symmetric body of revolution, which defines an axial direction and a radial direction. Preferably, the propellant charge sleeve is a particular rotationally symmetrical body of revolution, which defines an axial direction and a radial direction. To define the axial direction of the sports cartridge, the sports projectile is preferably inserted coaxially and / or concentrically in the propellant charge sleeve.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports cartridge according to the invention the sports bullet is inserted so deep in the axial direction in the propellant charge sleeve that the guide portion is disposed at least 50%, in particular at least 75%, preferably at least 90% of the guide section length within the propellant charge sleeve. Particularly preferably, the sports floor is inserted so deep in the axial direction in the propellant charge sleeve that the entire guide length of the guide portion is arranged in the propellant charge sleeve.
Alternatively or additionally, in a preferred embodiment of a sports cartridge according to the invention, the sports bullet is inserted into the propellant charge casing at less than 50% and / or more than 10% of its total projectile length in the axial direction. Preferably, the sports floor is used to 20% to 40% of the projectile length in the axial direction in the propellant charge sleeve, in particular to 30% ± 5%. Alternatively or additionally, in a preferred embodiment of a sports cartridge according to the invention the insertion depth of the sports bullet in the neck portion of the propellant charge sleeve in the axial direction, preferably starting from the end sleeve end, at least 2 mm and / or at most 6 mm, in particular at least 3 mm and / or at most 5 mm , preferably at least 3.5 mm and / or at most 4.5 mm, particularly preferably 4 mm. In this case, the step of the sports bullet may preferably be arranged at the height of the front end of the sleeve. Preferably, the step of the guide section of the sports floor in composite sports cartridge by less than 1 mm, preferably less than 0.25 mm, in particular less than 0.1 mm, offset in the axial direction of the end-side sleeve end. When a sports floor for realizing a sports cartridge as described above is inserted into the cartridge of the sports cartridge, it is ensured that sufficient holding forces are available to hold the sports floor safely in the cartridge, for example, to safely load the magazine of a sports weapon with sports cartridges and / or for safely feeding a sports cartridge from a magazine into a cartridge chamber of a sporting weapon.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports cartridge according to the invention, which can be combined with the previous one, the sports cartridge comprises a propellant, in particular propellant powder, with progressive and / or offensive combustion behavior. Propellant can be distinguished depending on its burning behavior. A propellant with offensive burning behavior burns quickly with rapid reaching a maximum pressure, so that with offensive burning propellant rapid acceleration of a sports bullet can be achieved. Progressive burning propellant reaches the maximum pressure during firing later, but can deliver greater acceleration energy to a sports floor than a propellant with offensive fuel burning behavior. Progressively burning propellant may be preferred because it generally produces a lower maximum pressure, which facilitates compliance with C.I.P. regulations. Surprisingly, it has been found that, when using a recess at the rear of the sports floor by increasing the available space for propellants, also propellants can be used with offensive burning behavior, the maximum pressure limit according to C. I. P. can be maintained.
The invention also relates to a sports weapon, such as a sports handgun, for example a revolver, a submachine gun and / or a pistol, in particular for dynamic IPSC sport shooting, comprising at least five, preferably six, eight, ten, 15 or 28 sports cartridges, for example as described above, each with a sports floor according to the invention.
According to a preferred development of a sports weapon according to the invention, the barrel of the sports weapon is at least 7.62 cm [3 inches] long and / or at most 12.7 cm [5 inches] long. Preferably, the barrel of a sports weapon according to the invention is at most 85 cm long.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports gun according to the invention, which is combinable with the previous, the sports gun on a cartridge camp for firing ready storage exactly a sports cartridge, in particular the cartridge chamber has a sleeve neck for axially holding a propellant charge of the sports cartridge and / or in particular the cartridge chamber a preferably has a conically tapered projectile transition, which in particular preferably in the axial direction directly adjacent to the barrel and / or the sleeve neck. In this preferred embodiment of a sports weapon according to the invention one of the at least five sports cartridges is arranged in the chamber, wherein the front portion of the sports projectile arranged in the chamber cartridge sports cartridge, in particular from the sleeve neck and / or through the projectile transition, preferably at least 5 mm, in particular at least mm, in particular between 7.5 mm and 8 mm, extends into the barrel.
According to a preferred embodiment of a sports gun according to the invention, the front portion of the sports floor of the cartridge arranged in the cartridge sports a preferably cylindrical central portion extending between the guide portion and the end portion of the sports projectile, wherein the central portion, in particular from the sleeve neck and / or through the Projectile transition, in particular at least 1 mm, preferably at least 2 mm, more preferably at least 3 mm, extends into the barrel. It is particularly preferred that the central portion does not touch the barrel and / or the bullet transition. Preferably, an annular gap is preferably arranged continuously between the middle section and the barrel or the middle section and the projectile transition in the axial direction. In such a vote of the sports weapon and the sports cartridge with inventive sports projectile can be used a very large volume and thus heavy as bullet, which nevertheless generates only a slight sliding friction at launch, so that a particularly high IPSC power factor can be achieved. Without the gap between the projectile and the barrel or the projectile transition, a comparably heavy projectile without a radial offset according to the invention would have to be inserted significantly deeper into the propellant charge sleeve, which would greatly reduce the available space for the propellant charge.

The solid line refers to the pressure development p O or the velocity development v O when firing a sports projectile with an offensive propellant. The dashed or dotted line symbolizes the pressure development p P or the velocity development v P in a sports projectile which is fired with a propellant with progressive fire behavior. A propellant with offensive fire behavior burns down quickly, so that the sports floor is accelerated quickly. However, in the pressure development p o of an offensive blowing agent, a high maximum gas pressure occurs, especially in comparison to the use of a progressive blowing agent. Since the energy released by the slower fire at progressive pressure development p P is greater than the energy emitted at offensive p O , a sports floor can be accelerated to a higher speed using propellants with progressive fire behavior.
