Abstract

1. Es handelt sich um ein elektronisch gesteuertes Gerät zur präzisen Konditionierung von Versuchstieren mit Hilfe eines Wechsel- oder Gleichstromimpulses bei kontinuierlicher Überprüfung der resultierenden Stromstärke. Inklusive Regelung der Stromstärke und evtl. Verlängerung des Impulses. 2.1. Derzeit bekannten Vorrichtungen ist gemeinsam, daß eine geringe und nicht einstellbare Spannung eingesetzt wird (max. 230 V), bei evtl. zu hohem elektrischem Widerstand des Tieres. Des weiteren ist bei Bewegungen des Tieres die resultierende Stromstärke und Impulsdauer nicht bekannt. Damit kann keine qualifizierte Aussage über den tatsächlich verabreichten Stromimpuls gemacht werden und somit über die Konditionierung. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher ein in engen Grenzen konditioniertes Tier zu erzeugen. 2.2. Dieses Gerät nutzt für den Stromimpuls eine Hochspannungsquelle (1) von ~1 kV und einer mittels Mikrocontroller (5) gesteuerten Widerstandsschaltvorrichtung (2), die den Strom (typ. 20 uA bis 500 uA) durch das Tier regelt. Die sich ergebende Spannung und Stromstärke wird durch einen AD-Wandler (3) gemessen und bei Bedarf nachgeregelt. Die voreingestellte Impulsdauer wird gemessen (6) und evtl. verlängert. Durch eine vorangehende Widerstandsmessung des Tieres wird die Kontaktqualität zum Versuchsgitter (7) bestimmt. 2.3. Nach der erfolgten Konditionierung des Tiers erhält der Experimentator eine qualifizierte Aussage (4) über den durch das Tier geleiteten Stromimpuls und evtl. aufgetretene Fehler.1.
