Abstract

Paint for painting walls, wood or the like is often offered in oval plastic or metal containers in the sizes 3 l, 5 l, 10 l or 20 l. The shipment of such a container fails because the containers are not stable enough, in particular, that when falling down such a container, the lid opens, the container breaks and the color emerges.

Based on this, the object of the present invention is to provide a package for sending a paint bucket, which prevents an uncontrolled opening of the paint bucket, even if the packaging together with the paint bucket is handled unceremoniously or falls off.

As a technical solution to this problem, a package of the aforementioned type with the features of claim 1 is proposed according to the invention. Advantageous developments of this packaging can be found in the dependent claims.

A trained according to this technical teaching packaging has the advantage that in addition to the two half cartons another forces receiving element is available through the inside mounted Steheinsatz, so that in the result a much more stable packaging is achieved. In a very preferred embodiment, it has proved sufficient to form the half-board from a two-ply corrugated board, while the standing insert is formed from a three-ply corrugated board. In particular, in the octagonal configuration of the half-board, the two-ply corrugated board provides sufficient stability, preferably the standing insert is designed in three layers. Experiments have shown that such a packaging reliably secures the paint bucket, and that the popping of the lid is hereby avoided.

In a further embodiment, the packaging is provided with an insert made of a dimensionally stable plastic, wherein in the insert a base receptacle is formed for a snug fit of the paint bucket. It goes without saying that the insert fits perfectly into the half-board and that the exact fit of the paint bucket in the base receptacle ensures that the paint bucket is held in a slip-proof manner within the half-board. As a result, this has the consequence that any occurring impact forces are already partially absorbed by the application, so that the arriving at the paint bucket impact forces are correspondingly small.

In a preferred development is provided in use of a ring line to form an easily detachable ring. This ring line is arranged so that after the separation of the ring, a lid for accurately fitting a color bucket is formed in the lid area.

In a preferred embodiment, a buffer insert is additionally provided, which is formed from the same dimensionally stable plastic, as the insert, wherein the buffer insert is also used exactly in the half carton. It has proved to be advantageous to arrange the buffer insert both below and above the paint bucket so that the buffer insert forms an intermediate link between the half-board and the paint bucket. This buffer insert absorbs occurring impact forces, so that these only greatly reduced arrive at the paint bucket.
