Abstract

Description

Die Vorrichtung basiert auf der Erzeugung von Ozon vor Ort, wobei der zu ozonisierende Sauerstoff elektrolytisch aus Wasser hergestellt wird. - – Ozon-Programme in Waschmaschinen in Wäschereien zum Desinfizieren der Wäsche;
- – Professionelle Geruchsbeseitigung, z.B. bei PKWs von Rauchern;
- – Reduzierung der Keimbelastung im Wasser von Aquarien;
- – Medizinische Desinfektion, z.B. zur Verbesserung der Wundheilung.

Bei diesen professionellen Anwendungen kommt hauptsächlich die Herstellung von Ozon aus molekularem Luft-Sauerstoff durch eine stille elektrische Entladung zur Anwendung, oder auch die Zersetzung des Sauerstoffs durch Einwirkung von UV-Strahlung. Die Ozonproduktion erfolgt in der Regel vor Ort, da sich Ozon wegen seiner Instabilität nur bedingt transportieren oder über längere Zeit lagern lässt. Soweit reiner Sauerstoff zur Verfügung steht, z.B. in Sauerstoff-Flaschen, kann dabei eine etwa fünfmal höhere Ozon-Konzentration erreicht werden, verglichen mit dem Einsatz von Luftsauerstoff, und außerdem entstehen dann bei der Ozonherstellung keine giftigen Stickoxide, wie sie beim Ozonisieren von (stickstoffhaltiger) Luft unvermeidlich sind.
