Zylinderkopfstruktur für einen Verbrennungsmotor, bestehend aus einem Zylinderkopf (2) und einem Zylinderkopfdeckel (3), bei dem sich zwischen Zylinderkopf (2) und Zylinderkopfdeckel (3) ein Hohlraum A befindet, in dem ein mit dem Zylinderkopf (2) aus einem Stück bearbeiteter Nockenwellenlagersitz (21) zur Aufnahme einer Nockenwelle (4) untergebracht ist, und bei der sich an einem Ende der Nockenwelle (4) in einem Steuerkettengehäuse (22) ein Steuerzahnrad (41) befindet, wobei der Zylinderkopf (2), der eine Basis (2b) besitzt, gegenüber dem Zylinderkopfdeckel (3) eine Verbindungsfläche (2a) hat, und der Zylinderkopfdeckel (3) eine komplementäre Trennfläche (3a) hat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindungsfläche (2a) des Zylinderkopfs (2) mit einer von der Seite des Steuerkettengehäuses (22) beginnenden Neigung verläuft und die Trennfläche (3a) des Zylinderkopfdeckels (3) eine komplementäre Neigung hat.
