Erfindungsgemäß umfasst die Vorrichtung zumindest eine Bilderfassungseinheit (2) zur Detektion einer Körpertemperatur und eines Bewegungsablaufes des Insassen und eine Anzahl von in ein Bedienelement (5) integrierten Erfassungseinheiten zur Detektion einer Herzfrequenz, eines Blutdruckes, einer Hautfeuchtigkeit, einer Hauttemperatur und/oder einer Sauerstoffsättigung eines das Bedienelement (5) berührenden Insassen, wobei erfasste Bilddaten (BD) und Signale (S, S1) einer Auswerte- und Anzeigeeinheit (6) des Fahrzeuges (1) und/oder einem mobilen Endgerät (7) zuführbar sind, wobei bei Ermittlung von auf einen kritischen Gesundheitszustand hinweisenden Vitaldaten (V) diese und/oder der ermittelte Gesundheitszustand mittels des mobilen Endgerätes (7) und/oder mittels einer Kommunikationsinfrastruktur des Fahrzeuges (1) automatisch an zumindest einen vorgebbaren Empfänger übertragbar sind und/oder zumindest eine den Insassen unterstützende Maßnahme automatisch einleitbar ist.The invention relates to a device and a method for determining a state of health of at least one occupant in a vehicle (1).
