Doppelrohrwärmeaustauscher bestehen aus ineinander angeortneten Rohren, wobei durch das innere Rohr das Produkt fließt, bspw. die Maische, während diese durch den äußeren Rohrquerschnitt mittels eines (Servitse-)Fluids erhitzt oder gekühlt wird. An den jeweiligen Rohreingängen sind im Bedarfsfall Strömungsbrecher vorgesehen, um optimale gleichmäßige Ewärmung oder Kühlung des Produktes in allen Bereichen zu gewährleisten. Durch eine spezielle Anordnung der Rohrleitungsverbindungen wird ferner darauf geachtet, dass der Produktdurchfluss Produktschonend abläuft, um Verstopfungen zu vermeiden.Optimum tempering of mash is often crucial to the quality of the final product.
