Abstract
A one-armed carrying device for a load to be carried on the front of the body, which is supported by means of a horizontally shaped structure on the inclined portion of the upper back muscles below the 7th cervical vertebra and is also designed such that by curvatures of the device, the force on the top of the shoulders on a Minimum is reduced and thus the shoulders are relieved of the weight forces, as seen from above, a curvature direction is responsible for circumventing the neck, while the other direction of curvature seen from the side over the shoulder.
Description
The invention relates to the field of carrying devices for musical instruments and other loads, which are usually worn with a belt that is supported by their shape in a way on the body that carrying loads or playing musical instruments easier and carefree for a long time possible is.
Especially with musical instruments, it is important not to restrict the freedom of movement of the musician. In addition, the circulation of the neck muscles and the head is so obstructed during prolonged play with conventional belt that numbness z. B. can arise in the arms.
It has been found that, when the force is not absorbed by the neck, but by the upper back muscles, it is much easier to carry the load for a long time. According to anatomical definition, the spine changes from the cervical spine into the thoracic spine from the 7th cervical vertebra. When the forces are introduced below the cervical spine, ie below the seventh vertebra, the neck muscles are no longer involved in the compensation of external forces introduced.
In wind instruments, the mouthpiece is another important contact point to the musician's body. With good balance the mouthpiece kinematic acts like a ball joint, so that only small forces are absorbed and this contact point in the consideration of forces plays virtually no role.
In order to reduce these problems, various devices have been developed in recent years, especially for musicians with the aim to reduce the perceived burden of the instrument weight - especially on the neck - and initiate other body parts. Also, the unpleasant contraction of the belt around the neck should be avoided. In the vast majority of cases, these devices have the goal of eliminating the neck area and distributing the weight evenly over the shoulders, or introducing it into the hip area / waistline. However, many larger musical instruments such as bassoons or saxophones are not held in the middle of the body in most cases, but more or less laterally. This means that symmetrical constructions, which have the goal of distributing loads on both shoulders, entail construction-related disadvantages in an oblique / asymmetrical pulling direction, because the direction of pull of the weight force becomes increasingly laterally aligned. The more the weight to be carried is held laterally, the more asymmetrical the weight distribution will be. Solutions that aim to evenly distribute the load on both shoulders are disadvantageous because the less loaded side is increasingly ineffective.
Der sogenannte „Harnais” oder „Harness” Saxophongurt The so-called "Harnais" or "Harness" saxophone belt
In the case of the "Harnais saxophone belt", the load of the instrument is distributed on the shoulders similar to a backpack by means of parallel or crossed belts to achieve the desired neck freedom. Nevertheless, these belts are only conditionally used. Reasons are that the constriction of the upper body and the complex application of the rather complicated belt system are often perceived as unpleasant. Although the shoulders are more suitable for absorbing the loads than the neck, there is also a limitation of the musculoskeletal system, in particular of the arms and shoulders. Instruments worn diagonally in front of the body distort the belt system and lead to unilateral loading. In addition, the height adjustment is difficult, since a height adjustment is automatically accompanied by a narrowing of the entire belt system. This allows smaller instruments such. B. Altsaxophone rarely bring to the required height of play.
Harnesses are attached to the back waistband to prevent the shoulder pad from slipping up. The weights are distributed to the shoulders and upper back. However, the instrument weight is ultimately held by the pants, which is pulled up. In addition, the kinematic conditions cause that almost twice the weight of the instrument must be borne by the shoulders. The pulling up of the pants through the belt is often perceived as unpleasant.
The "FreeNeck" follows the example of a backpack with a hip belt and introduces the weight forces into this hip belt via two vertical metal tubes resting against the back. From an anatomical point of view, this is a good solution, as both the neck and the top of the shoulders are relieved of weight forces. However, there are decisive disadvantages here: The wearing and wearing of the "FreeNeck" and the entire handling is impractical. Due to the long and rigid back, the freedom of movement of the upper body is severely limited. For diagonal tensile forces with predominantly laterally carried loads, the construction does not have a sufficient abutment, it tilts away laterally. In addition, the external appearance is often perceived as unattractive and conspicuous. In addition, the items of the "FreeNeck" are bulky.
Der sogenannte „Saxholder” der Firma JazzlabThe so-called "Saxholder" of the company Jazzlab
In the "Saxholder" the load is distributed symmetrically with two support arms on both shoulders. A long arm supports the device in the abdominal area. Although the shoulders are more suitable for absorbing the loads than the neck, here too the free mobility of the arms and shoulders is limited by the weight. In addition, the mobility of the upper body is severely limited by the long, stiff boom. Also, the support on the soft, movable abdominal wall is distracting and not very stable. Diagonally occurring tensile forces due to laterally held instruments are insufficiently supported by design and the second arm of the "Saxholder" is in this case largely ineffective.

The object of the invention is to eliminate or at least reduce the abovementioned problems of conventional carrying devices of the generic type and to provide a carrying device which supports loads primarily on the front of the body - in particular musical instruments such as saxophones, bassoons, guitars, accordions Also cameras, infants, etc. - while at the same time the greatest possible freedom of movement and easy handling to hold or wear.
This object is achieved by a carrying device according to
Other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments, which refers to the drawings; show it:
Another advantage of the carrying device lies in its inconspicuous shape, which is not visually irritated or unpleasant.
