Abstract

Currently, induction chargers rely on AC sources. Therefore, a mobile electronic device designed for wireless charging can be charged only near sockets. Because accumulators of mobile electronic devices have a limited capacity and, for example, smartphones are usually used throughout the day (http://www.internetworld.de/Nachrichten/Mobile/Zahlen-Studien/BVDW-Studie-zur-Smartphone-Nutzung-in- Germany-always-and-everywhere-online-76153.html), the accumulator must be recharged again and again. It must be searched for a period of time during a normal working day, during which the mobile electronic device is not actively used and is in the vicinity of a voltage source. Therefore, the period during a car trip in which the smartphone is not moved within the vehicle and is usually located in the center console of the car, optimal to recharge the battery. In this case, a permanently installed, - alternatively inserted in the vehicle power outlet - version of the charging device defined in claim 1 are used. Since a smartphone recognizes the wireless charging state automatically, the former should perform automatic actions using software explained in claim 2, such as play a music list, as soon as the smartphone has recognized the wireless charging state.

Description

The invention relates to a wireless charger for mobile electronic devices, which can be integrated in a car.

Induction charging devices for mobile electronic devices consist of a coil which must be connected to an AC voltage source, so that in the coil, which is located in the induction charging mobile electronic device, an AC voltage induced and thus energy can be inductively transferred to other coils.

Since in motor vehicles, the automotive battery, or the alternator are the most technically uncomplicated energy sources, but these represent a DC source, previous induction charging can not be used in motor vehicles, without disturbing the aesthetic image of the cockpit by cables or jacks attached devices.

The features illustrated in claim 1 allow the wireless charging of mobile electronic devices in a motor vehicle. This allows the owner of the mobile electronic device to charge the mobile electronic device in a car and leave the mobile electronic device turned on for a longer time. For example, smartphones used as personal navigation devices can be charged while using the navigation services, thus counteracting the disadvantage of faster battery discharge due to gps services or other services requiring high processor power ,

Claim 2 increases the convenience of using the mobile electronic device, since repetitive inputs can be stored on the mobile electronic device, so that the input must be entered only once, rather than before each drive with the vehicle.

For example, on a smartphone, a music list may be input, which is automatically played when the smartphone is charged in a car.
