Description
The invention relates to a golf tee for forming a punch mark on the club head of a golf club after a golf swing when Kontaktkontakt the golf club with the golf tee by forming a visible mark on the face or front of the club head.
Typische Flugbahnen sind: ”straight”, ”fade”, ”draw”, ”slice”, ”push”, ”push slice”, ”hook”, ”pull” und ”pull hook”.Deviations from the correct swing plane - intentionally or unintentionally - significantly affect the ball's trajectory when playing golf. The trajectories of the ball have special designations. Typical trajectories are: straight, fade, draw, slice, push, push slice, hook, pull and pull hook.
Alle anderen Flugbahnen sind zumeist unbeabsichtigt und werden durch einen falsch ausgeführten Golfschwung hervorgerufen."Straight", "fade" and "draw" land in the scheduled hit execution in the target and represent the golfer's intended trajectories. All other trajectories are mostly unintentional and caused by a wrongly executed golf swing.
To practice and train the golf swing, which then leads to the corresponding desired trajectories, exercise areas, so-called "driving ranges" are available. In these practice areas, the golfer can play balls of artificial grass mats to specifically train the tee shot situation. On the mats to ensure a defined and depending on the used racket different high ball position, the players use on the tee mats golf tees made of elastic material, which are inserted from below through a tee mat and on which the ball is positioned. However, golf tees can also be used as aids in the first hit on a fairway, the so-called tee, in order to create an elevated and defined position for the ball. Depending on the racket used and the playing or training situation, golf teas in different heights and shapes are offered.

Object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee of the type mentioned, which is simple and inexpensive to produce and when Inkontakttreten with a golf club after a golf swing generated a sufficiently large, easily recognized mark on the club head, the mark in a simple Way the evaluation of the performed swing allows and can be easily removed again from the club head.
The above object is achieved by a golf tee with the features of
According to the invention, the golf tee has a golf tee material with a sufficiently low abrasion resistance to form an abrasion mark as a mark on the club head by material abrasion from the golf tee. The material abrasion can, as has been found from experiments within the scope of the invention, formed over a total of ten strokes at a club head speed between 100 to 150 km / h, in particular at a club head speed of about 125 km / h, with an inserted club " Iron 7 "is a value of about 0.2 to 1.2 mg per beat, in particular between 0.4 to 1.0 mg per beat, more particularly 0.6 to 0.8 mg per beat amount.
A measurement of the abrasion resistance according to DIN ISO 4649 (elastomers or thermoplastic elastomers - determination of the abrasion resistance with a device with rotating cylinder drum) has shown that the relative volume loss between 50 to 500 mm 3 , preferably between 200 to 400 mm 3 , in particular between 250 to 350 mm 3 , can be.
In comparison to the known state of the art, a golf tee is provided for the first time with the invention, which leaves a mark on the club head after the golf swing without additional mechanical aids or separately integrated marking elements in the golf tee. The identification of the golf swing takes place by the golf tee according to the invention predominantly or exclusively on the underside of the racket, the so-called racket sole. The marking allows a direct analysis of the performed swing and allows conclusions on the connection between trajectory and ball contact of the club head. The golf tee can thus be used very advantageously for training and analysis of the golf swing, especially when training tee-off mats. Based on the marker on the club head, it is easy to determine if and to what extent the golf swing needs to be corrected or changed to achieve a desired trajectory. The wear trace of the golf tee on the club head is hereby preferably line-shaped to track-shaped and thus easily recognizable, the marking being effected solely by the golf tee material applied to the club head.
The use of a golf tee material with a sufficiently low abrasion resistance to create a wear track on the club head is related to a function oriented use of the golf tee according to the invention, i. H. when the golf tee comes into contact with a club head at standard club speeds of between 100 and 200 km / h and with conventional strike forces in the field of golf. The formation of a wear track on the club head refers to the use of conventional golf clubs, wherein the club head may preferably consist of an alloy of high-quality, lightweight and elastic metals, such as titanium or aluminum, but also of aramids or aramid copolymers, steel or plastics. The club head can also be made of iron.
In the golf swing, the club and ball contact are high club head speeds, usually in the range of 80 to 250 km / h. Due to these high speeds, a high frictional heat is generated between the inventive golf tee and the club head, which, depending on the golf tee material used, increases the material wear of the golf tee and supports the formation of a clearly recognizable wear track on the club head.
Preferably, the golf tee according to the invention is made entirely of a golf tee material having a sufficiently low abrasion resistance to produce a visible wear trace on the club head. This also simplifies the production of the golf tee according to the invention. In principle, however, it is also possible for the golf tee according to the invention to have such a material with sufficiently low abrasion resistance only in the near-surface edge region. For example, the golf tee may consist of a base material commonly used in known tees that is coated and / or sheathed with a corresponding golf tee material having a sufficiently low abrasion resistance.
The golf tee according to the invention preferably consists of a homogeneous, yielding and elastic material, so that negative effects on the golf swing or damage to the material of the golf club when contacting the golf tee are not to be feared. In particular, the golf tee material has a (partially cross-linked) rubber material as an abrasion-forming component. The rubber material is also particulate or powdered in the golf tee material.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the golf tee according to the invention or comprises an elastomer powder-modified thermoplastic composition having at least one thermoplastic matrix material and at least one finely divided, crosslinked and powdered elastomeric material incorporated in the matrix material by melt mixing, wherein elastomeric powder-modified thermoplastic compositions have a sufficiently low abrasion resistance to create the intended abrasion mark on the club head by abrasion of material from the golf tee. In particular, in the case of elastomer powder-modified thermoplastic compositions, the frictional heat between the golf tee and the club head causes parts of the elastomer particles to rub off and leave a materially thin, but clearly visible, abrasion trace on the club head. This abrasion track indicates in an ideal way, on which swing track the club head reached the ball at the impact moment and then passed. Such an abrasion trace can also be removed easily and without residue from the club head. The elastomer powder may be prepared based on finely ground rubber residues. The elastomer powder is equally responsible for the elasticity of the golf tee according to the invention and for the identification function. Such a golf tee can be produced in a resource-saving manner, since it can contain high proportions of recycled elastomer powder and is itself recyclable again.
- [Y] denotes the Shore hardness of the elastomer material according to DIN 53505, stated in Shore A,
- [X] denotes the Shore hardness of the matrix material according to DIN 53505, stated in Shore-A,
- [Z] the deviation between the Shore hardness of the elastomeric material and the Shore hardness of the matrix material, each given in Shore A, denoted by [Z] ≤ 20,
The elastomeric material may be selected from the group of the olefin-diene rubbers and / or the styrene-butadiene rubbers and / or the natural rubbers and / or mixtures thereof.
The thermoplastic matrix material may be formed by a main thermoplastic and optionally at least one additional thermoplastic, wherein the main thermoplastic is selected from the group of olefin-based thermoplastic elastomers and wherein optionally at least one additional thermoplastic is selected from the group of polyolefins.
The proportion of the main thermoplastic in the composition can be between 5 and 70% by weight and / or the main thermoplastic can have a Shore hardness according to DIN 53505 of less than 90 Shore A.
The proportion of the additional thermoplastic in the composition may be up to 50% by weight.
In order to avoid damage to the club head when contacting the golf tee according to the invention and to simultaneously support the formation of an abrasion track on the club head, the Shore hardness of the golf tee material according to DIN 53505 can be between 30 and 80 Shore A, preferably between 50 and 65 Shore A, be.
Dies lässt eine kostengünstige Fertigung des erfindungsgemäßen Golftees zu.In particular when using elastomer powder-modified thermoplastic compositions, it is possible to process the golf tee according to the invention by injection molding methods. This allows a cost-effective production of the golf tee according to the invention.
The golf tee according to the invention can in principle also be made of other abrasion-producing polymeric compositions or have such compositions. In particular, a composition is used for the production of the golf tee or the golf tee has such a composition, which preferably contains partially crosslinked rubber particles and / or rubber components, which on the one hand supports the formation of an abrasion trace on the one hand and the easy removal of the abrasion mark from the club head on the other hand. Such abrasion-forming materials can be used, for example, for the production of shoe soles and can there lead to the occurrence of undesirable traces of abrasion on the ground, for example in sports halls.
The abrasion height of the abrasion track should preferably be between 5 and 1000 μm, more preferably between 10 and 80 μm. The abrasion width of the wear track may be between 0.5 to 25 mm, preferably between 5 to 15 mm. The abovementioned value ranges ensure that the wear track as such is easily and clearly recognizable on the club head. It is understood that the abrasion width and abrasion height are dependent on the type of golf tee material used or on the abrasion behavior.
The golf tee according to the invention may contain at least one additive in order to influence the abrasion behavior positively in the sense of the desired formation of an abrasion trace on the club head. This is especially true when the abraded golf tee material is an elastomer powder modified thermoplastic composition. In principle, the additive can be selected from the group of oil- and / or water-soluble dyes, graphites, metal powders, in particular aluminum powders, carbon blacks, waxes, paraffins, mineral fillers, preferably chalk, encapsulated dyes and / or the magnetic particle. For example, there may be provided an additive or additive which aids in the detachment of the golf tee material from the club head, resulting in reduced binding of golf tee material to the material of the club head. For example, it is also possible that the golf tee material has a dye to make the wear track more easily recognizable. For residue-free removal of the dye from the racquet head, the dye may be in a mixture with wax in the golf teem material.
The proportion of the additive in the golf tee material is preferably on the order of 0.1 to 10% by weight, more preferably 1 to 5% by weight. Depending on the additive, it is thus possible to ensure or improve the formation of an abrasion trace and / or the recognizability of the abrasion trace on the club head and / or the preferably residue-free detachment of the abrasion mark from the club head.
The golf tee according to the invention may have a tea stem connected to a base plate, wherein the tea stem may have an abrasion-forming surface structuring, in particular formed as longitudinal webs. This can support the formation of an easily visible abrasion track on the club head.
For example, a black golf tee material can be used for easy identification of the wear track, so that the wear track is also colored black. It is understood that the golf tee according to the invention can, however, basically have any desired colors.
