Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Emblems für einen Kraftwagen.The invention relates to a method for producing an emblem for a motor vehicle.
Embleme für Kraftwagen, beispielsweise Motorhaubenembleme, werden unter anderem als galvanisierte Kunststoffteile hergestellt, welche beispielsweise mittels eines sogenannten Tampondrucks partiell eingefärbt werden, um einen markenspezifischen Schriftzug oder dergleichen innerhalb des Emblems hervorzuheben. Zum einen können Probleme bei der Herstellung der Embleme entstehen, da sich insbesondere der Tampondruck nicht zielsicher auf das Emblem aufbringen lässt. Zum anderen kann es sein, dass die aufgebrachte Farbe im Alltagsbetrieb nicht abriebsfest ist, was zu Kundenreklamationen führen kann. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Emblems für einen Kraftwagen umfasst die folgenden Schritte:
- – Aufbringen einer Schutzschicht auf eine Folie;
- – Umformen der mit der Schutzschicht versehenen Folie zu einem Halbzeug;
- – Einlegen des umgeformten Halbzeugs in ein Spritzgießwerkzeug;
- – Ausstanzen vorgegebener Bereiche des Halbzeugs;
- – Hinterspritzen des Halbzeugs mit einem Kunststoff unter Ausbildung des Emblems.

Im Gegensatz zu einer nachträglichen Bedruckung des Emblems mit einer Farbe kann durch den Einsatz eines dafür geeigneten und entsprechend eingefärbten Kunststoffs, mittels welchem das Halbzeug nach dem Ausstanzen der vorgegebenen Bereiche hinterspritzt wird, besonders dauerhaltbar realisiert werden. Dadurch kann insbesondere eine sehr dauerhaltbare Beschriftung chromfarbener Bauteile für Exterieuranwendungen erzielt werden, wobei gleichzeitig eine Verbesserung der Korrosionseigenschaften von chromfarbenen Emblemen erzielt werden kann.In other words, it is provided according to the invention, the inked area of the emblem, by means of which, for example, a brand name or the like is highlighted within the surface of the emblem to produce by the back-injected plastic. Darüber hinaus ist es auch möglich, dass entsprechende Sensoren alternativ oder auch zusätzlich in den Bereichen des Emblems vorgesehen werden, welche nicht mit Kunststoff hinterspritzt sind.
