Description

Closed bicycle bags are often used to transport travel items on bicycle tours, providing the cyclist with a correspondingly large storage space that is protected against dust and rain. Such bicycle bags are partially made of flexible or rigid plastic material and have more or less the shape of a box.

In many known bike bags, the bracket with which the bike bag is attached to the bike rack is always fixed to the bike. So also with the DE 20 2010 004 308 U1 , in which the bracket, which consists of a rail, is attached to a (vertical) strut of the luggage carrier by means of fastening clamps.

As a rule, the panniers are detachably attached to the side of the rear luggage rack. Two bike bags are often used for optimal weight distribution.

It is important for the cyclist that they can quickly and easily remove their panniers from the luggage rack when they stop. Various fastening mechanisms are known for this.

From the DE 20 2009 004 989 U1 a bicycle bag with a special fastening system is known. It consists of a snap hook that is hooked onto a crossbar of the bicycle luggage rack. To fix the lower area of the bicycle bag, a locking mechanism is additionally provided, which is clamped to two support struts of the bicycle luggage rack. The bike bag is thus firmly attached to the bike rack, which enables the bike to be maneuvered safely, even with heavy luggage.

As already mentioned is from the DE 20 2010 004 308 U1 a bicycle bag known that is relatively easy to attach to a crossbar of a bicycle. However, the simple handling means that the bicycle bag cannot be adjusted in terms of angle.

All known fastening systems have the disadvantage that elements of the fastening systems always protrude from the flat wall surface of the bicycle bag. Especially when carrying heavier bike bags, these protruding elements can be extremely annoying. Rubbing can damage clothing or cause skin damage.

The object of the invention is to provide a bicycle bag with a holder which does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, which in particular offers increased comfort when carried and which is inexpensive and easy to produce.

This object is achieved by the features specified in claim 1.

Bicycle bag with holder for fastening to a bicycle luggage rack, the holder being designed as a cross rail (7) with two fastening elements (3a, 3b) which can be displaced in a longitudinal groove (30) and can be fixed to a strut (5) of a bicycle luggage rack, characterized in that the cross rail (7) has two hooks (9, 10) at the end, which engage behind a support plate (15) provided on the bicycle bag (1) for detachable connection, one of the hooks (9, 10) being designed as a snap hook (10), the hooks (9, 10) can be fixed in arcuate grooves (12a, 12b) which are provided on the carrier plate (15) so that the inclination of the bicycle bag (1) can be adjusted and that the fastening elements as clips ( 3a, 3b) are formed.
