Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of
The most well-known rainwater treatment processes in the separation system refer exclusively to the retention of solids (German Association for Water Management, Wastewater and Waste, see ATV-DVWK-M) 153, 2000: Recommendations for the handling of rainwater, society for the promotion of sewage technology V. (GFA), Hennef, pages 1-36). So far, especially sedimentation plants have been realized. In the publications of the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste e. V. DWA-A 166; 1999: Central rainwater treatment and retention structures, GFA, Hennef; DWA-M 176, 2001: Hints and examples for constructive design and equipment of structures of central rainwater treatment and retention are provided for planning, construction and operation.
Simple sedimentation systems such as pits or sand traps have only a backbone for bedding and sand due to the small settling volume and thus make only a small or negligible contribution to the retention of water-relevant pollutants, since these are usually bound to medium to fine particles. Another disadvantage of the usual mode of operation in long-term congestion is that by re-suspension of already deposited particles shock loads of the waters arise.
The term rain basin is according to the worksheet of the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste e. V. DWA-A 166; 1999: Structures of the central rainwater treatment and retention, GFA, Hennef a collective term for systems for the retention and / or treatment of rain and mixed water, for example, rainwater treatment basins, rain overflow basins, rain retention systems, storage space channels. Rain basins are differentiated according to function, type, arrangement and mode of operation. To reduce the pollutant content in rainwater rainwater basins are used. Rainwater settling tanks according to DWA-A 166, 1999 function on the principle of sedimentation. With regard to the mode of operation, two types of rainwater basins are to be distinguished. Rainwater basins in the permanent storage are not emptied after the rain. The rainwater remains in the basin. The pool contents will be displaced into the water at the next rain event.
The sludge settled in the basin is taken out once or twice a year in the course of a basin cleaning, according to the sludge attack. These pools are additionally equipped with a mud room. A systemic disadvantage of the constantly filled rainwater basins is that during periods of service after a rain event, a high oxygen depletion occurs, so that in new precipitation low-oxygen or oxygen-free water is flushed out into the water. In addition, the oxygen depletion during the lifetime leads to the re-dissolution of phosphates and to high bacterial counts. The flushing of such insufficiently purified amounts of water leads to harmful changes in the water quality with significant consequences for the aquatic community.
In the case of rainwater basins without permanent accumulation, the entire contents of the pool, the water-sludge mixture, are fed to the sewage treatment plant after the end of the rain. Cleaning equipment ensures that the settled contaminants are removed from the tank.
Disadvantage of rainwater tanks without permanent backwater is that the existing wastewater transport systems sewer, sewage pumping station and waste water pressure line and the sewage treatment plant are claimed unnecessarily to high proportions. Also basin contents, which are largely freed from pollutants, are fed to the sewage treatment plant and subjected to a purification there. Due to the lack of control options and structural conditions, only one emptying path, in the direction of the sewage treatment plant, is possible.
Furthermore, retention bottom filter systems are used as two-stage structures of rainwater treatment, consisting of a sedimentation and filter unit (DWA M178, 2005: Recommendations for planning, construction and operation of retention soil filter systems for further rainwater treatment in the mixing and separation system, GFA, Hennef, page 1-52) , The filter unit consists of a filter layer and an underlying drainage system for mounting and draining the filtered rainwater drains. An integral part of the process is the planting of the filter with reeds. The filter process is throttled, so that with rainwater inflow caching takes place. The required volume is placed directly above the filter layer (DWA, M178, 2005: Recommendations for Planning, Construction and Operation of Retention Floor Filters for Further Rainwater Treatment in the Mixing and Separation System, GFA, Hennef, page 1-52). A particular disadvantage of the retention soil filter systems is the high space requirement, which leads to high investments, especially in densely populated areas. The required space is usually not available in urban areas, so that it is often not possible to realize these facilities.

For all of these methods no gas warning technology is available, so that the concerns of explosion protection are disregarded.
The object of the invention is to provide a method for qualified operation control of rainwater tanks, which allows effective and economic retention of waters incompatible or water polluting substances from rain drains.
According to the invention the object is achieved by a method according to
The sensor systems required for this control generally do not have the required explosion protection under these management conditions. Special precautions must therefore be taken for explosion protection.
The establishment of the method according to the invention therefore requires the installation of a monitoring system for explosive atmospheres in the form of gas detectors. Basically, in rainwater tanks are the usual To expect water constituents, such as those present in rainwater runoff. In general, therefore, the presence of hazardous substances or substance mixtures in explosion-hazardous acute concentrations is not to be feared. In the event of accidents in the catchment area of rainwater basins, however, the ingress of water-polluting and / or combustible substances, such as fuels, fuel oil and chemicals, in rainwater tanks is not excluded.
Also, due to the biological activity of the water, substances that pose a potential danger in terms of explosion protection. This is especially true against the background of prolonged life of the water in the pool, which are basically possible and then have a significant depletion of oxygen in the pool water to complete oxygen depletion result. The penetration of faecally contaminated waste water of domestic or industrial origin, is not expected in a proper and proper drainage in the separation system, but can not be completely ruled out. After the depletion of dissolved oxygen by aerobic degradation processes anaerobic putrefaction processes would be increasingly used due to the continued availability of organic nutrients. The resulting intermediate and decomposition products are carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and methane. Furthermore, the formation of significant amounts of hydrogen sulfide must be expected. The resulting gases are dissolved to a degree of saturation in the water, then released from the water and get into the air of the rainwater. Carbon monoxide and methane can form explosive atmospheres when mixed with air. The advantage of the method according to the invention is based on a parameter-controlled mode of operation, which allows a fractionated emptying of the rainbow while preserving the interests of explosion protection. This controlled and monitored treatment of rainwater on site, which is determined according to the requirements of the water conservation, the water-compatible proportion of rainwater is increased and reduces the proportion of sewage treatment plant. The on-site treatment is based on the requirements of the water pollution control and is then constructed modularly. In the simplest case, the oxygen-poor tank contents are aerated highly efficiently and almost oxygen-saturated led to the water. If necessary, the removal of fines or further nutrient reduction can be achieved with further treatment modules.
In
