Aussteifungselemente in Kraftfahrzeugen mit rinnenförmigen Vertiefungen, kurz auch Sicken genannt, sind hinlänglich bekannt und dienen insbesondere dazu, unerwünschte Bauteilschwingungen zu reduzieren oder gänzlich zu vermeiden sowie das Kraftfahrzeug auszusteifen und dabei insbesondere crashsicher zu machen. Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, an einem als Unterbodenblech oder als Motorraumabdeckung ausgebildeten Aussteifungselement eines Kraftfahrzeuges mehrere in verschiedene Richtungen orientierte rinnenförmige Vertiefungen, kurz auch Sicken genannt, vorzusehen, die zumindest zwei unterschiedlichen Tiefenniveaus aufweisen, das heißt zumindest einen gestuften Rand besitzt. Im Unterschied zu bisher bekannten Sicken, welche ausschließlich in der Art einer Rinne ausgebildet waren, weisen die erfindungsgemäßen Sicken den großen Vorteil auf, unerwünschte Bauteilschwingungen besonders gut zu unterbinden und zugleich eine hohe Aussteifung zu bewirken. Ein weiterer positiver Effekt derartiger erfindungsgemäßer Sicken, eine kontrollierte Luftführung, sofern das Aussteifungselement in der Art eines Bodenblechs beim Kraftfahrzeug eingesetzt wird. Die erfindungsgemäßen Sicken können dabei wie herkömmliche Sicken mittels eines Presswerkzeugs erzeugt werden, insbesondere sofern es sich bei dem Aussteifungselement um ein Blechstanzteil handelt.The present invention is based on the general idea of providing a reinforcing element of a motor vehicle designed as an underfloor sheet or engine compartment cover with a plurality of groove-shaped depressions oriented in different directions, also referred to as beads, which have at least two different depth levels, ie at least one stepped edge. Selbstverständlich ist dabei sowohl ein geradliniger Verlauf als auch ein gebogener Verlauf der zumindest einen Sicke denkbar, wobei der jeweilige Verlauf insbesondere bei dem Einsatz des Aussteifungselementes als Bodenblech eines Kraftfahrzeuges zusätzlich zur kontrollierten Luftführung genutzt werden kann.
