Bei einer Einfügekontrolleinheit (1) zur Kontrolle des Steckzustandes eines Einsteckteiles (4) in einem Aufnahmeteil (2) sind eine Spule (10) und wenigstens ein Kontrollkondensator (22, 23) sowie wenigstens ein Permanentkondensator (26, 27) vorhanden. In Abhängigkeit der Anordnung eines Betätigungsteiles (8) ist der oder jeder Kontrollkondensator (22, 23) zusätzlich zu dem oder jedem dauerhaft mit der Spule (10) vorhandenen Permanentkondensator (26, 27) mit der Spule (10) verbunden.
