The The invention relates to a process for the purification of phosphoric acid or mixtures with phosphoric acid by extraction by means of Centrifuges.
Ferner wird Phosphorsäure als Beizmittel beim Polieren von Metalloberflächen verwendet.phosphoric acid is one of the most important inorganic acids, in particular in large-scale processes. Phosphoric acid is for example, in the manufacture of fertilizers, preservatives (E338 acidity regulator) and / or rust transducers. Further, phosphoric acid is used as a mordant during polishing used by metal surfaces.
The Production of phosphoric acid is energy and material consuming. For economic and ecological reasons Therefore, the recycling of used phosphoric acid is desirable. Furthermore, it is also desirable, Rohphosphorsäure, which made from apatite and sulfuric acid, continues to grow clean.

The inventive method allows an extraction in smaller plants in contrast to the conventional one Mixer-settler process, which requires very large plants.
After mixing, the first and second phases form a two-phase system, which is preferably an emulsion. In emulsions, at least two immiscible liquids which form two phases are preferably dispersed together. The one liquid preferably forms the dispersant for the other liquid, which is distributed in the form of fine droplets. The droplet diameter is preferably in the range of 10 -2 to 10 -6 cm. The Mixing in step a) can be accomplished by dynamic mixing or static Mixing to be done.
At the Dynamic mixing becomes a mechanical element, for example a stirrer in which liquid moves. This movement leads to the formation of an emulsion of the two liquid phases. At the static mixing are the liquid phases to be mixed, for example, via fins and webs, in partial flows split, diverted and merged again. The mixing can here by laminar flow by diffusion and / or be carried out by turbulence in turbulent flow. As static Mixer, for example, a SMX mixer is suitable.
In one embodiment, for centrifugation, a flow centrifuge, preferably a plate centrifuge used. The centrifuge can 40 to 150 plates included. The angle of inclination of the plates is preferably up to 40 ° relative to the base area. Through the use of flow centrifuges, the Inventive process operated continuously become.
- d) mixing with an aqueous solvent, preferably water,
- e) Separating the phases by centrifugation and
- f) isolating the aqueous phase containing the purified phosphorus acid,
This This process can also be called reextraction. This is the purified phosphorus-containing acid as an aqueous Solution and the organic solvent, which is preferably substantially free of phosphorus-containing acid is, gets back.
The Steps d) to f) can be repeated 2 to 3 times. In the case of discontinuous centrifugation, the steps e) and f) two separate steps. In continuous centrifugation Steps e) and f) form a step.
Further may after the last step f) possibly in the phosphoric acid contained sulfuric acid precipitated by the addition of calcium oxide become.
Bei der Reextraktion werden vorzugsweise 10 bis 90 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 20 bis 30 Gew.-%, organisches Lösungsmittel, welches mit der Phosphorhaltigen Säure beladen ist, mit 90 bis 10 Gew.-%, weiter bevorzugt 70 bis 80 Gew.-% wässeriges Lösungsmittel, vorzugsweise Wasser, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht von organischem Lösungsmittel und wässerigem Lösungsmittel, reextrahiert.at Reextraktion are preferably 10 to 90 wt .-%, more preferably 20 to 30 wt .-%, organic solvent, which with the phosphorus-containing acid is loaded with 90 to 10 wt .-%, more preferably from 70 to 80% by weight of aqueous solvent, preferably water, based on the total weight of organic Solvent and aqueous solvent, re-extracted.
