Dadurch wird eine gezielte Luftführung geschaffen und das Luftstromvolumen durch den Lüfter erhöht, sowie die Lüfteraufnahmeleistung verringert. Bei Anordnung eines Diffusors nach dem Lüfter ist die Schottwand zwischen Diffusor und Verbrennungsmotor angeordnet.
