Abstract

A movable barrier (60) prevents components from escaping from a vibratory conveyor as the components move along a course (20). A control member (50), which may be a pneumatic cylinder or a lifting magnet, selectively moves the barrier to push the components to a pot (10) based on a pilot signal from a sensor which detects if the components are edging out of the conveyor. An independent claim is also included for a vibratory conveyor.
