Abstract
Method for the production of nitrogen oxide as raw material for the production of ammonia, which is used as reducing agents for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas of a source of combustion, preferably an internal-combustion engine, where the nitrogen oxide is manufactured from air and/or from exhaust gas in a plasma of a nitrogen oxide production unit and the plasma is excited in a plasma reactor by means of an electromagnetic radiation. An independent claim is included for a device for the production of nitrogen oxide as raw material for the production of ammonia, which is used as reducing agents for SCR of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas of combustion source, preferably an internal-combustion engine.
