Abstract

The method involves providing a power saving module and a current transformer, where a three-phase motor is operated in a star mode during under load. The three-phase motor is operated in a delta mode during overload, where a sensor is provided for detection of rotation speed of the three-phase motor. The power saving module consists of an analog-to-digital converter for processing current from the current transformer. An independent claim is also included for a device for operating a three-phase motor.
