In den heutigen Zahnimplantatsystemen werden jene Parameter entweder durch die großen Aussparungen für Werkzeuge oder durch nicht verschließbare Aussparungen für die Positionierung des Kopfteils nicht erreicht. In vielen Fällen werden zusätzliche Installationswerkzeuge benötigt. Das erschwert und verlängert das Verfahren und gefährdet die Genauigkeit des Implantat-Systems.
