Biometrie-Fingerprint-Scanner (2) zur Erkennung biometrischer Merkmale dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dieser in die Vorrichtung einer Fernbedienung/Tastatur einer Settopbox (1) für Kabel-, Satellit-, DVB-Empfang u.a. integriert oder als mobile Einheit an das System angesteckt ist, zum Aufbau einer sicheren und paßwortunabhängigen Kommunikation mit beliebigen Anwendungen über Netze (6–11), insbesondere über das Internet (z.B.
