Die erste Glasplatte weist Glaskanten auf, die die erste Glasplatte begrenzen. Die erste Glasplatte weist eine Anzeigefläche und Seitenflächen auf, die sie begrenzen. Der Kunststoffhalter weist Führungsflächen zur Führung der ersten Glasplatte auf. Es reicht aber aus, wenn die Glaskanten nur in dem Bereich mit einem Bezug versehen sind, in dem sie ansonsten mit den Führungsflächen des Kunststoffhalters in Kontakt treten könnten. Der Bezug kann als Folie oder sonstige Beschichtung realisiert sein. Denkbar sind beispielsweise selbstklebende Metallfolien aus Aluminium oder Kupfer oder Kunststofffolien in Form von Polymidklebebändern oder entsprechend ausgestalteten Schrumpffolien. Als Bezug eignen sich auch aushärtende Lacke und Vergussmassen. Diese sind insbesondere in den Ecken der Anzeigefläche vorteilhaft, wenn die erste Glasplatte um 90 Grad versetzten Führungsflächen geführt werden soll.
