Abstract

A low oxygen pressure-sensitive paint (I), for use in low-oxygen environments, comprises (A) a luminophor (I) having luminescence intensity dependent on oxygen pressure and (B) poly-(1-(trimethylsilyl)-1-propyne), of average molecular weight at least 350000, as binder. An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I), by preparing a solution of (B), at a concentration of at least 6 mg/ml, in an organic solvent, then mixing (A) into the solution.
