Abstract

A drinking water filter applies a catalytic-magnetic treatment to water. The filter has a pre-filter (1) with a sieve (3) holding a charge of special granules (10). The granules are cleaned at intervals within the rotating sieve section (8) by brushes (9). The sieve section (8) is secured top (12) and bottom (6) with seals. The brushes are operated either by a hand wheel or a clock-triggered electric motor.

Nach ca. 1 bis 2 Funktions-Jahren muss das Granulat wegen der Verunreinigung durch die Schmutzpartikel aus dem Leitungswasser, ausgetauscht werden. Der auf der Oberfläche des Granulats gelagerte Schmutz bildet eine Isolierschicht und verhindert somit die ausreichende Wirkung des Gerätes. Um den Tausch des Granulats zu vermeiden und die Funktionalität auf Dauer beizubehalten, ist das Gerät mit zwei integrierten Vor- und Nachfilter 1 (113) ausgestattet. Außerdem ist im Inneren des Gerätes ein rotierendes Edelstahl Sieb (8) angebracht an dessen Wände gegenüber senkrecht Bürsten (9) angebracht sind. Das rotierende Sieb mit Bürsten kann mittels eines Motors (7) oder mechanisch per Hand (Handrad) in Drehbewegung gesetzt werden.
