Trotz dieser Anordnung hat sich gezeigt, daß die erstrebte Wirkung, nämlich die Herabsetzung der Flüssigkeitsreibungsverluste, nicht oder nur höchst unvollkommen .erreicht wird und daß das Anlaufen der zur Verminderung der Flüssigkeit vorgesehenen Ringtrommel infolge der zu großen Reibung zwischen den. Durch diese Maßnahme wird eis ermöglicht, die Ringtrommel von vornherein, d. h. schon beim Anfahren, mit wenig radialem Spiel in der Schwebe zu halten, so daß eine besonders geringe Reibung zwischen dem Pumpengehäuse und der den Flüssigkeitsring enfhaltenden Ringtrommel sichergestellt ist.
