Abstract
Description
The disadvantages of backflow, as well as the undesirable side effects of the external bypasses can be avoided. Furthermore, the invention enables special start-up and shutdown regimes that are positive affect the total energy consumption of the chiller.
According to the invention, the diffuser blades, which are mechanically driven by means of a conventional ball-and-socket linkage with an electric motor, are designed in such a way that each of the blades, which is mounted on one side perpendicular to the blade direction, has a sealing surface at the outer end which, as the adjustment continues, adjoins a sealing surface of the adjacent blade and thus the backflow of Prevents refrigerant vapor (gas) from the condenser chamber into the impeller. According to the invention, this electromechanically driven device for preventing the backflow can also be designed fluid-mechanically in such a way that an optimal diffuser effect with different power is achieved by adjusting the blades. According to the invention, this electromechanically driven device can then be used to start the compressors against an existing pressure difference between evaporator p 0 and condenser p c . According to the invention, this electromechanically driven device then serves in the closed state to maintain the pressure difference between evaporator p 0 and condenser p c , this is necessary in particular for the stop and go operation in order to save energy.
In Fig. 1, the blades are shown combined as a follow-up device in the open state and in Fig. 2 as a sealing flap in the closed state in a section of the diffuser ring.
