Abstract

A metal ball moves in all directions in a vigilance device if the head falls downwards, e.g. through tiredness or falling to sleep. The ball slides and switches on an electrical connection through an electrically operated bar. A waking signal lasts for five seconds. A control screw adjusts the ball's function and relies on the angle of tilt required by using an elastic rubber element.

Description

In the travel time of tiredness and falling asleep always challenges many Deaths. Many drivers die day and night because of falling asleep. Vigilance hat can clear the driver before falling asleep save, because the alert hat gives the driver a signal and he must interrupt further journey.

kleine Wachanlage 2
Lautsprecher (links und rechts), Bild 1, 2
Vigilance cap 1 protects all drivers from falling asleep while driving. Vigilance hat has three main parts:
Cap 1
small security system 2
Loudspeaker (left and right), image 1, 2

Guard system 2 is closed by the flap 4 and main element 7 is made of metal. This element 7 has a cone that is turned out, Figure 3. The conical surface is created at a degree of 30 degrees. The ball 8 is located on the cone bottom 7 . With each head movement, the ball 8 pushes to the electric rail 5 , 6 and then the guard system 2 is switched on. The rails 5 , 6 are always connected when the watchfulness hat tends more than 30 degrees. In addition, the regulating screw 14 sets the required degree. The degree regulation is possible because the element 9 is made of elastic rubber. Every driver can set the ball position (inclination angle - picture 5) at his own request. The vigilance system 2 is electrically connected to the signal source 3 . When the driver has full control over the head position (the eyes are open) the alert hat moves from 0 to 30 degrees. This means that the connecting ball 8 is in the cone. When the driver falls asleep, his neck and head muscles are out of control in the first and second seconds. The ball 8 now rolls on one side and connects two electrical rails 5 , 6 . After the connection, the loudspeakers give loud signals (5 seconds). The driver has woken up and his life is saved. Rubber element 9 is glued to the edge of the metal element 7 . The middle part of element 9 is glued to bushing 11 . The socket 11 blocks the blockage 10 . The bushing 11 enables the adjusting screw 14 to be rotated freely and the rubber element 9 to be pulled.

Claims (1)

Vigilance hat wakes up every driver when the driver falls asleep. Every uncontrolled head movement (in 90% of the head falls down) switches on the guard system. Falling asleep and tired have a strong connection with the tension in the neck, characterized by:
  • - A metal ball 8 in the guard system 2 moves in all directions when the head falls down (fatigue and falling asleep)
  • - The ball 8 shifts and switches through electric rail 5 ; 6 electrical connection on (wax signal lasts 5 seconds).
  • - We set the ball function 8 using the regulating screw 14 , but depending on the required degree of inclination.
  • - The degree position is possible through the elastic rubber element 9 .
