Über das als Ein-/Auskoppelvorrichtung EAKV 1 ausgebildetes Koppelelement werden Daten, nämlich Bilddaten, Steuerdaten und/oder Diagnosedaten von der nicht abgebildeten Steuerelektronik empfangen und drahtgebunden an eine Ein-/Auskoppelvorrichtung EAKV 2 sowie optisch gekoppelt an ein Anzeigemodul M1 übertragen und empfangen. Die sich an den jeweiligen Enden der Modulzeilen befindenden Anzeigemodu le M2 und M4 weisen interne Umleitungsverbindungen UV auf, über welche die zu übertragenden Daten vom jeweiligen Emp fangselement OE in das jeweilige Sendeelement OS z. B. zur Da tenrückübertragung vom Anzeigemodul M2 an das Anzeigemodul M1 bzw. vom Anzeigemodul M4 an das Anzeigemodul M3 übertragen werden (vgl. Fig. 6). Der Datenflussplan gemäß Fig. 6 zeigt die auftretenden Datenströme in einem Anzeigeelement und Anzeige modulen gemäß Fig. 5, wobei erste Datenverbindungen V1 für Bilddaten und Steuerdaten und zweite Datenverbindungen V2 für Diagnosedaten vorgesehen sein können. Auch in den Ausfüh rungsformen gemäß den Fig. 3 und 5 kann eine optisch gekoppel te Datenübertragung nicht nur zwischen benachbarten Anzeige modulen M in den entsprechenden Modulzeilen, sondern auch in Richtung der Modulspalten erfolgen (nicht abgebildet).
