Abstract

1. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese,
mit einem Schaft,
mit einer konusförmigen Ausnehmung im proxi­ malen Ende des Schaftes,
mit einem Kugelkopf,
mit einer konusförmigen Ausnehmung in dem Ku­ gelkopf und
mit einem Verbindungsteil, das einen zu der konusförmigen Ausnehmung in dem Kugelkopf komplementären Konuszapfen zum Einsetzen in die konusförmige Ausnehmung in dem Kugelkopf und einen Fortsatz zum Einsetzen in die ko­ nusförmige Ausnehmung in dem proximalen Ende des Schaftes aufweist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Fortsatz (12) entfernt von seinem Ende eine Verdickung (14) mit einer kugelför­ migen Außenfläche (16) aufweist, deren Durch­ messer kleiner ist als der größte Durchmesser der konusförmigen Ausnehmung (18) in dem pro­ ximalen Ende des Schaftes (2),
daß der Fortsatz (12)an seinem Ende einen Zapfen (22) aufweist, der in eine komplemen­ täre exzentrische Ausnehmung (26) in einem Ring (24) eingreift, dessen Außenfläche (30) kugelförmig ist und einen Durchmesser hat, der größer ist als der kleinste Durchmesser der konusförmigen Ausnehmung (18) in dem proximalen Ende des Schaftes (2), jedoch kleiner als der Durchmesser der kugelförmigen Außenfläche (16) der Verdickung (14), und
daß die Durchmesser der kugelförmigen Außen­ flächen (16, 30) der Verdickung (14) und des Ringes (24) und deren Abstand zueinander so bemessen ist, daß bei in die konusförmige Ausnehmung (18) in dem proximalen Ende des Schaftes (2) eingesetztem Fortsatz (12) beide kugelförmigen Außenflächen (16, 30) in der konusförmigen Ausnehmung (18) in dem proxima­ len Ende des Schaftes (2) fest klemmen.
