Description

Zum Schutz von empfindlichen Teilen von Anlagen wie z. B. der Signalleitung in einem Flugzeug wird der Lichtwellenleiter mit dem Signalkabelbündel mitgeführt. Im Falle einer Überhitzung oder eines Brandes der zu überwachenden Bereiche wird das Lichtsignal auf dem Weg vom Sender zum Empfänger verzerrt, gedämpft oder gar unterbrochen.
