Eine derartige Anordnung hat jedoch den Nachteil einer ungenügenden Schmierung, da der Schmierfilm durch die starre Einspannung der äußeren Lagerschalen einerseits und die elastische Verformung derselben in der Mitte, herrührend von den Verbrennungsdrücken der inneren Pleuelstange, infolge Druckanstiegs leicht unterbrochen werden kann. Außerdem können trotz der Einspannung der Schale in der Gabelstange Relativbewegungen der Lagerschalenhälften zueinander in der Mitte der Teilfuge nicht verhindert werden, so daß unter Umständen Dauerbrüche auftreten können. Durch diese Anordnung wird einerseits eine einwandfreie Schmierung sämtlicher Lagerstellen gewährleistet und die Herstellung durch Verwendung nur einseitig ausgegossener Lagerschalen vereinfacht. Überdies kann dadurch, auch das Gewicht des Gabelpleuels durch Verminderung der Stärke der gabelförmigen Enden wesentlich verringert werden, was bei schnell laufenden Brennkraftmaschinen von großer Bedeutung ist. Die Berührungsflächen des Schaftes mit dem Lagerdeckel können dabei in bekannter Weise mit Kerbverzahnungen versehen sein. Die beiden Hälften des Gabelpleuels 1 sind durch Schrauben 9, 10 miteinander verbunden, wobei zur Versteifung die unteren Lagerdeckel des Gabelpleuels durch einen Steg 11 miteinander verbunden sind. Dieser Steg reicht, wie aus der Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist, über den ganzen Lagerdeckel. Anordnung zweier an einem gemeinsamen Kurbelzapfen angreifender Pleuelstangen bei Brennkraftmaschinen, insbesondere schnell laufenden V-Motoren, von denen die eine die andere am Kurbelzapfen gabelförmig umfassend ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß beide Pleuelstangen (1, 2) in voneinander unabhängigen zweiteiligen Lagerschalen (3, 4, 5) auf dem Kurbelzapfen (6) gelagert sind, wobei der untere Lagerdeckel der Gabeltreibstange (1) einteilig ausgebildet und mit einem die beiden Lagerschalen verbindenden, über den ganzen Umfang reichenden Versteifungssteg (11) versehen ist.
