Multi-unit microscope objective The invention relates to microscope objectives
and aims to make an achromatic microscope objective available, which
thanks to the extensive elimination of various image errors through an increased
Resolving power over the entire field.
To solve this problem is known from the fact known to the person skilled in the art
it is assumed that the image field of a microscope objective is particularly characterized by this
It could be improved by using a glass with a higher refractive index and a smaller one for the front lens
Dispersion chooses.

Komponenten. Die Indexzahlen der Bezeichnungen R, D, S und F kennzeichnen die Reihenfolge
von der Objektseite zur Bildseite. The microscope objective on which the invention is based is tripartite. Its first component is designed in the form of a plano-convex single front lens, with the plane surface facing the object and the convex surface of the image side 2. It consists of glass with a refractive index nd> 1.71 and a Ny value vd <50, has a thickness roughly equal to the radius of curvature of the convex surface, and its focal length is between one and four times the value of the total focal length. The second and third components are in the form of color-correcting cemented lenses with focal lengths between three and five times the total focal length. They are separated from one another by an air gap of less than a tenth of the total focal length and have a thickness between half and the full value of the total focal length. In order to achieve favorable Seidel values and a correspondingly improved image distortion correction, the design data of one of the two embodiments explained below must be observed according to the invention. As a result of this, the technical peculiarity of the invention is that the values for ZPi, l1'i and jlii are kept small, and in particular the extensive correction of image errors: Execution I.

The plus sign in front of the numerical value of the radius of curvature means that the convex surface is assigned to the object side. The minus sign in front of the numerical value of the radius of curvature means that the concave surface of the object side has been trimmed. D denotes the thickness of the lens. S denotes the air gap between two successive components. The index numbers of the designations R, D, S and F identify the sequence from the object side to the image side.
