Description
Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
The invention is particularly applicable in devices for visual field examination, but also in ophthalmometers.
Charakteristik des bekannten Standes der TechnikCharacteristic of the known state of the art
There are already circular, in itself unstructured illuminated areas ice fixation marks in perimeters, which are projected into the center of the spherical surface of the perimeter (DD-WP 156062), Furthermore, fixing marks in the form of small light sources (especially LED) or not self-luminous fixed fixation known ( DD-WP 202982). The usual fixation marks are perceived more or less clearly even when the viewing direction deviates from the fixation mark. This means that a lack of concentration, a lack of willingness to cooperate or the intention to simulate can falsify the results of the investigation or make the investigation more difficult.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
It is an object of the invention to avoid the disadvantages described and in particular to provide a fixation, which can be perceived only with correct adherence to the fixation.
Darlegung*des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation * of the essence of the invention
The object of the invention is to provide a fixation mark for ophthalmological examination devices, in particular perimeters, which offers a functional and controllable fixation stimulus.
The object is achieved according to the invention, the means for rotating a structured fixation mark are provided about a central axis and the fixation has only identifiable structure and preferred direction of fixation of the subject, wherein advantageously takes the fixation during rotation discrete directional orientations. The fixation mark can also be self-luminous.

The reference numbers have the following meaning: 1 is a cylindrical body with an end face 2 on which a directionally structured optotype 3, preferably a Landolt ring, is attached. The end face 2 is inserted in the middle of the inner surface of the perimeter hemisphere. A rear surface 2 'of the cylinder 1 carries a similar to 3, enlarged, 180' rotated Sehzeichen 3 '. A drive shaft 5 carries a disc 6 with a pin 7. The pin 7 engages in a "Maltese cross" 8 which sits on a shaft 9. 10 is a pulley and 11 a belt, which is the Turning movement of 10 on the cylindrical body 1. The well-known function of the Maltese cross gear 6,7,8 generated from the uniform rotational movement of 5 a series of jerky 90-degree turns with switched approximately resting phases in which the slot of the Landolt ring or the orientation of another structured optotype, such as a Pflüger hook, as right or down or left or top identifiable The size of Landolt Ring used should be well above the size determined by the visual acuity of the subject, ie, depending on The visual performance of the test person Landolt rings, which appear under 50 to 100 angular minutes in diameter, to use Windiness of the shaft 5 is to be selected in the range of 0.1 to 1 revolution / second. The subject is asked to follow the rotation of the Landoltringes under observation of the slot. This can only succeed in foveal vision, that is, under the correct observance of fixation. In addition, it is ensured by the selected size dos ring 50-100 angular minutes in diameter that the involuntary eye movements (saccades) keep their ordinary viewing conditions corresponding functions. For the examination itself, namely for the determination of the visual field, the type and size of the fixation mark are largely irrelevant; its structure is intended to induce the subject only to foveal vision, that is, to fix the place of the mark permanently. In this case, the identification of the structure by the patient should simply be verbally communicable, so that the examiner obtains from these messages and the observation of the posterior visual sign 3 'an additional control of the observance of the fixation direction.
