The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the compounds according to the invention are added in a concentration of 0.01 to 3 wt .-%, preferably 0.05 to 0.5Gew .-%.
The invention relates to a process for the stabilization of polyolefins and their copolymers against thermo - and photooxidative degradation.
All organic compounds, including organic polymers and hydrocarbons of various molecular weights, undergo thermal and photooxidative degradation processes under the action of air, light, heat, moisture and other environmental factors in the manufacture, processing and use. These lead to a negative influence on the physical and physico-mechanical properties and thus limit the application possibilities for organic materials. By adding stabilizers (antioxidants, light stabilizers, etc.), such degradation reactions can be inhibited. In addition to sterically hindered phenols, some sulfur compounds and aromatic amines phosphorus compounds are increasingly used for it. Of these, particularly sterically hindered phosphites (inter alia DE-OS 2733796, DE-OS 2944254, DD146959, DD 146961) and cyclic phosphites (DD 146464, DD146959, DE-OS 2656999) show good activity. Almost all previously used phosphite stabilizers have the great disadvantage that they are very easily hydrolytically decomposed, thereby limiting their shelf life and reducing their effectiveness. The proposals for reducing these disadvantages (additions of amines [DE-OS 2135238, DE-OS 26361331, waxing [EP 2243] and soaps [DE-OS 2626255]) can not solve this problem and have a number of new technological and chemical deficiencies Episode.
The object of Erflndung is to find an economically favorable and effective process for the stabilization of polyolefins and their copolymers gegor, thermo and photooxidative degradation.
The object of the invention is to develop a novel process for the stabilization of polyolefins and their copolymers, which increases the stability of these materials against thermal and photooxidative degradation and avoids the disadvantages of known solutions.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that the organic materials to be stabilized esters of acids of trivalent phosphorus of the general formulas I to III in concentrations between 0.01 and 3 wt .-%, preferably between 0.05 and 0.5 wt .-% alone or added in combination with other stabilizers or other additives during manufacture, prior to or during processing by a single or multiple addition.

The esters according to the invention of acids of the trivalent phosphorus of the general formula I to III, in which one or two ester radicals derive from specific aminoalcohols whose amino function is still strongly basic but inhibited from steric and / or electronic ratios in their chemical reactivity, are characterized by a very good storage stability, which is due to their excellent hydrolysis and oxidation stability. The advantages of the invention lie in the pronounced stabilizing effect against a thermal and photooxidative degradation of polyolefins and other low and high molecular weight hydrocarbons. The effectiveness of the method according to the invention is expressed for. In inhibiting the autoxidation of hydrocarbons and polyolefins - expressed by the induction period t ! P and the relative rate of autoxidation - as well as a greatly delayed increase in the carbonyl index in both thermal and photooxidation.
