Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Wiederaufbereitung von Kieselgurschlaemmen aus Filtrationsprozessen zum Zwecke des Wiedereinsatzes des Regenerates fuer Filtrationszwecke. Die Erfindung kann in den Industriezweigen angewendet werden, in denen Kieselgurschlaemme anfallen, insbesondere in der Brauindustrie. Erfindungsgemaesz wird Kieselgurschlamm als kompakte Masse mit maximal 65% Feuchtigkeitsgehalt ohne vorgeschaltete Homogenisiereinrichtung bei 400C bis 600C im Zerteilungswirbelschichttrockner strukturschonend dispergiert, getrocknet und vorklassiert. Man erhaelt eine Masse mit maximal 3% Feuchtigkeitsgehalt. Die obere Korngroesze betraegt maximal 100 mm. Anschlieszend erfolgt eine Behandlung im Wirbelbettkalzinator bei 800C bis 900C im Heiszgasstrom. Die organischen Verunreinigungen vergluehen und die Restfeuchte verdampft.
